If you’re looking for the kind of place where mornings start with mist on the lake and end with a grilled dinner under the trees, Idlewild might be your new favorite spot.
Nestled along the shores of Lake Panasoffkee, this cozy RV park and lodge isn’t about flashy amenities. It’s about slowing down, getting outside, and reconnecting with nature (and maybe your tackle box).
Fishing is a big draw here—bass and bluegill are abundant, and with boat slips, a fish cleaning station, and kayak access, it’s easy to spend the whole day on the water. The RV sites are peaceful, the property is shaded and well-kept, and there’s even a lodge for non-RV guests.
Book through Outdoorsy Escapes and your RV will be delivered and fully set up before you arrive, so you can skip the hauling and head straight for the hammock.
