From April through November, Basswood comes alive with exciting seasonal events! Families can experience Foam Wagon Rides, Watergun Shootout Wagon Rides, Glow Rides, Flashlight Lollipop Hunts, Tie-Dye, Ceramics, Colortime Fabric Coloring, Candy Bar Bingo, Prize Bingo, arts and crafts, Free S’more Nights, themed weekends, and so much more! Enjoy magical outdoor movie nights in our large outdoor movie theater under the stars. From Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend, the fun goes into full swing with a complete activity schedule planned seven days a week, ensuring there’s always something exciting for the whole family to enjoy. Year-round, guests can take advantage of our many amenities, including a giant Bounce Pillow, basketball court, pickleball, gaga ball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, ladderball, tetherball, and a modern playground, providing endless entertainment for all ages. When it’s time to cool off, our seasonal swimming pool is perfect for splashing and relaxing. After a day of fun, grab a delicious meal from our on-site Pizza Parlor, serving pizza, wings, pasta, and more, or treat yourself to something sweet at our Ice Cream Parlor. Basswood is also just minutes from Kansas City’s top attractions, including the Kansas City Zoo, Worlds of Fun, the Kansas Speedway, and nearby casinos like Ameristar and Harrah’s.
