About Adriana's RV rentals

I first rented a Cruise America RV to go to Burning Man way back in 1996 (after tent camping there for three years) and have been hooked on RVs ever since! After realizing that I could have bought FOUR RVs with all the money I'd spent at Cruise America over the years, I finally bought a used one from them in 2015, and now "Madge" is my trusty travel companion. She also doubles as a Black Rock City newspaper office -- as the editor/publisher of the BRC Weekly, I've been publishing a newspaper at Burning Man since 1995. She's been to five Burning Mans, three Wasteland Weekends, a solar eclipse festival in Oregon, and several places in California and Nevada. I’ve done quite a few mods from her original Cruise America state, including adding a bike rack, memory foam mattress topper, extra mirrors, and more. Plus stickers. Oh yes, so many stickers. Yes, Madge is a veritable Burning Man sticker museum. :-)

The RV named Madge, as described by another renter was: "quirky" and she was. The owner was helpful in giving us an 8 page info sheet to help "manage or expectations." BUT only after we paid. It would've been better to know before we rented it. Also it may be helpful to know that the stickers and notes plastered on the walls and ceilings contain many profanities. MADGE isn't really family friendly due to the stickers.
Still, Madge was reliable even if the air conditioning/heater didn't work or the refrigerator (even after 6 hours) never even got chilled. She wasn't tidy either, the floor was dirty and the sink drain was filled with someone else's gross stuff.
Overall, our family still had a good time and though I wouldn't rent again, it was available last minute AND the owner was helpful and attentive. Honestly, it may be time to retire Madge as an vechicle to rent for money.

First of all, this was our first RV experience. Andriana was always responsive. The RV has some miles on it, drives like a squeaky u-haul, and has a number of quirks that Adriana is happy to share once you secure your rental. Just to give you one quirk, we always knew when we were driving up a hill because the a/c would cut off. You just need to learn how this old, worn RV responds.

Adriana delivered the vehicle a day earlier which was great. However, the next morning the RV did not start. It had to be jump started and then a new battery replaced. Ultimately, we ended up cancelling the trip, as we were planning on going to Yellowstone and did not feel comfortable that this was a well maintained RV. There were a few other things that we not working (e.g., gray water and propane indicators), the RV was not very clean with black spots all over the fridge.

Adrian was amazing, I made a booboo pulling out of my first gas station and damaged the back end. Adrian had a ridiculously cheap repair guy and promptly refunded the balance of my deposit. I discovered RV was not quite right for me but when the RV was parked at the beach it was wonderful! She was was really responsive and the Rv was great. If I rent one again and have someone else drive, I would definitely rent from her again.

Adrian, was very responsive. The Pick up and dropping off was so smooth!! The only thing is that the RV was not clean as the owner warned us since he was out of town. I took a while to clean it up, specially the refrigerator. The closet had clothes on it and linens were very dirty. We just took them out for the trip, put our own and we were good to go. Otherwise it was perfect and we had a wonderful trip.

Everything went according to plan. Adrian was helpful and responsive to questions about the motor home. It was easy to drive and we had no problems with it. It had been parked for some time. We spent 2 hours cleaning the inside and washing it before we left on our trip.
