I had several issues with the camper. I had it rented for 12 days for a trip to CO with my daughter and we came home early from the trip. There was a terrible smell from the sewer/toilet area that intensified and flushing the tank and adding chemicals did not help. It made being in the camper miserable. The shower leaked water onto the floor and the refridgerator door would not stay closed when traveling and we had to throw food out. We were in contact with Open Road Rentals by day 2 or 3, hoping to get the issues solved. We had to drive to an RV mechanic and spent time and gas, and the mechanic wasn't able to fix the problem without us leaving the camper with him and us finding a different place to stay. Open Road Rentals knew we had ongoing issues and did not bother to check back with us to see if the leaking shower was fixed. The mechanic from CO checked in with us several times to see how we were doing but I would have expected to hear from the rental company. Their silence did not go unnoticed. I also paid for the Peace Of Mind insurance almost $500 to ensure a smooth trip but these issues were not covered with the insurance plan. I sent a message to Open Road Rentals when I got home detailing the issues we had and asking to be reimbursed for gas money spent to travel to see the mechanic and for having to throw food out and cutting our trip short due to the terrible smell. They did not respond to me and that was 5 days ago.

What a great and flexible owner! Open Road Rentals came through for us after our 4 month in the planning camping trip with our original camper rental was canceled with one weeks notice. Open Road Rentals was able to outfit us with just 3 days notice, even with a bike rack. THANK YOU!!!! The Bushwhacker Plus has the basics and is one of those smaller campers that we were able to pull with our van. It was perfect for our family reunion in the Chippewa National Forest!

Our trip started out with a big problem.
We are fairly local to Open Road Rentals so we planed on just picking up their camper and towing to the campground ourselves. I ended up with a hitch problem that I should have caught a year ago.
My contact at Open Road, Justin, caught it right away. I believe this would have ended our trip with another rental company because its what I would have done. Not so with Open Road Rentals. They do offer towing and set up, which I did NOT pay for, but Justin says "hey why don't I just tow it over to the campground for you"? Literally my only workable option, of course I said yes. Justin not only towed the camper for me but then went over the entire set up with me. Keep in mind I didn't book or pay for any of these services.
Justin told us several times that they just wanted us to have fun and enjoy our weekend, which we did thanks to him and Open Road. My wife and I had a fantastic weekend and had 0 problems with the camper.
Now, the camper itself was spotless and completely stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. It came with dishes, toaster, coffee maker, and even coffee, tea, and a bunch of condiments! Also included were things like rugs, cleaning supplies, camp chairs, grill, and camp fire starting supplies. I'm sure I'm missing things but we really needed nothing else. My wife and I are already planning next years trip. We would highly recommend renting from Open Road Rentals LLC, they truly do just want you to have a nice, stress-free experience. I will never be able to convey how great the experience was but if you rent from them you'll see for yourself.

The camper was in great condition and extremely clean. It had everything one needed to camp! They were very courteous and polite. They did a great job with the delivery and set up. Any issues that arose they were responsive and helpful. I would rent from them again anytime!

Excellent communication with Open Road Rentals staff, as they were available at all times with help. Smaller, but extremely roomy and exceptionally clean camper. Looking forward to the next trip!
