I loved the camper van, it drives like a car and it’s easy to fit places.
Robert explained everything very well and was always a text or phone call away when I had questions. I couldn’t find the van after parking at starved rock state park and he gps’d it for me. Everything worked as he said it would.

Highly Recommend! We used this Connect for a road trip to Southern IL to see the eclipse- It is set up really well so that all the camping essentials are accounted for which made a relatively short trip (three nights) easy to pack for. The Connect is really well thought out with many details to maximize the space and to make it comfortable. The space available for storing luggage was bigger than expected. The bed was comfortable, we slept great and cooking was fun. Robert was easy to coordinate with, flexible and promptly answered questions we had, even once we got on the road. Fun to drive and a great value for the price and I'd certainly rent again!

The camper was the perfect size for the adventures of two people. The van also has many features that makes your time outdoors a pleasant one. Most importantly, Robert is a great host! He makes sure that everything is perfect before you head out and is very informative with both the camper and the outdoors. Thank you !!

Robert responded to all requests quickly. We had a thorough walk through when picking up the rental that showed us how to use all accessories. Lots of amenities along with the van. Highly recommend.

My partner and I had an awesome adventure up the Michigan coast with this van! Was the perfect size, plenty of space for our stuff but super easy to drive and not cumbersome at all. Robert is exactly the kind of person you want to rent a custom built camper from - highly communicative, meticulous and detail-oriented. The van was in excellent condition and well taken care of. The many thoughtful details included with the rental (insulated mugs, boardgames, blender, the list goes on and on) on top of all the camping essentials made our experience the most comfortable we’ve ever camped! 10/10 would rent again. Thank you Robert for all of the love and care you’ve put into this thing.

Absolutely adored our stay and travels in the Adventure Van! This van is kitted out with pretty much everything you could possibly need for van life. We drove around the great lakes region for 1 1/2 weeks in late summer. The nights were chilly, but the van was cozy!A couple things to note:
- The van did great for us, we drove between 100 - 400 miles each day with no major issues. The engine is a 4-cylinder so it's not super quick on the pick up.
- The seats are not the comfiest, but you get used to them! Still, I'd keep that in mind if you're planning a really long drive.
- The van has plenty of kitchen equipment for camping. We decided to bring a tent as well, just in case, and I'm really glad we did, it was really nice to have the option on nicer nights to sleep under the stars.
- the bike rack is awesome and it's really nice to have bikes if you want to explore after your camp is set up (we brought our own).
-the hammock and the awning both do a lot of work to make a little home anywhere.
- There is quite a bit of storage space for your own stuff, my biggest rec is pack everything you think you need and then downsize that by half. It's not that storage is an issue, its' more unpacking / repacking / rummaging around for a certain thing that becomes a pain.
- a couple of things we brought that the van didn't come with that came in handy: a hatchet (for firewood), a small cast iron skillet, tent (as mentioned above), headlamp, and a leatherman.This was my first van camping experience and all the effort Robert has put into building this van really made it a pleasurable, near-effortless experience. Robert was super communicative the whole time, and very easygoing. If you've gotten this far in the review, my number one tip for van life is throw out your plans and drive. If you don't like a campsite, just keep driving! This vehicle makes it so easy.

This camper van was awesome! Fully loaded with tons of camping supplies and easy to use. Robert was extremely helpful and communicative. He answered all of our questions promptly. Definitely recommended.

I had a blast renting this wonderful camper for a work trip to Tennessee. It was the perfect van to keep me feeling "self-contained" so I could maintain social distancing throughout my trip. The van is well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. Robert was really great to work with and has put in a lot of money and effort to make this van available. I'd definitely rent it again! You have to learn to drive it gently and not take any risks like you might in a vehicle with more power. Other than that, it ran great and reliably for my whole trip. Be nice to it when you rent it... I'd love to spend more time with it! :)

Robert's camper van is AWESOME! My friend I enjoyed every bit of it. Robert is a great host. He is super friendly and always answer our questions. This van has everything you could ever need when you camp, it has not only beach chairs, carpet, awning, but you can also find S' more sticks, cast iron pan, bug spray... It has a super-efficient cooler that our ice didn't melt for 4 days. It also has a battery bank and we never has to worry about charging our phones and electronics. It is really a car full of all the fun things. The van is very easy to drive and it is truly the best way to travel now. I highly recommend this van!
