We had a horrible experience tenting this trailer. First off, they were late dropping off and picking up the trailer. We had to drive no more than 45-50mph the entire time or the trailer would sway so much we were worried about it tipping. We actually even got pulled over on the way back because the officer was worried about it too. This caused us to arrive much later than we expected and leave much earlier to account for the additional travel time. This was not pleasant on an already short trip. The owner informed us just hours before we were due to leave that the indoor shower and outdoor awning were broken. Our campground did not have any amenities like showers or even trees for shade so both items were huge difficulties for us. The outdoor shower is not very convenient when there is no privacy and the outdoor temperature was getting down to 37 degrees. She told me of the oven was broken when I came to pick up the camper. This limited the foods I was able to make so plans had to be changed last minute. The other items that were problems were the microwave that was just shoved in a hole at an angle. It made it unusable. The ad stated that it’s fully stocked with “all the amenities of home.” We found this far from the truth. The kitchen was the worst stocked camper kitchen we have ever seen and we’ve rented A LOT. It had a total of two pans, both frying pans. There were no other pans for boiling things or sauces. There were zero cooking utensils. Nothing to stir any food that you’re cooking, no spatula, tongues or anything else to cook with. The extent of the “fully stocked kitchen” was two pans, 2 can openers, 4 forks, a handful of butter knives and spoons, A few plastic plates, cups, and cereal bowls. I’d hardly call that fully stocked. There was no strainer, cutting board, hot pads, or mixing/serving bowls of any kind. It made cooking extremely difficult. The ad also stated that it was fully stocked with towels. There were zero towels in the camper. She stated at pickup that the propane was full and we only had one tank that had propane, the other was completely empty.
We tried to play a movie for our kids but couldn’t because the sound didn’t work. It was extremely difficult to get into the trailer since once of the stairs was broken. My kids fell a couple times because of this.We addressed all of these issues with them and they tried to tell us that our Durango that pulls 7400 lbs easy was the reason the trailer was swaying. We rent campers 4-5 times a year and pull them all with our Durango and we have NEVER had a problem like this. She failed to address any of our other concerns or do anything to correct the issues.Steer clear of this trailer!!! It may seem like a great deal but I would go back and rent a more expensive trailer in a heartbeat to avoid what happened to us that weekend.
