I feel so fortunate to have been able to rent Gerald's phenomenal van! I took my 15 yr son on a 7 night/8 day road trip from San Diego to Big Sur to Yosemite to Mammoth, and the van made the trip exciting, easy, convenient and comfortable! Everything about the van is luxurious and well designed. We enjoyed cooking great breakfasts, eating under the awning or in the van. The kitchen sink made clean up easy. The microwave was convenient. The AC made 100 degree afternoons cool. The heater made 68 degree nights warm. The indoor shower and bathroom, complete with sink, was a completely luxury. And perhaps the biggest surprise of all was how much food fit in the refrigerator! It also drives like a large car, and got the great gas mileage described on the listing. Oh, storage space is incredible. We had drawers for our clothes and toiletries, and cabinets for our dry food and trip stuff. Finally, the cabin electronics are great, easy to hook our phones into... I wondered if it would be hard to park, and I can tell you it's not. We parked in normal parking spaces.

Owners Gerry and Tina are so great to work with. They make the renting experience pleasant and seamless. Sunny The Campervan is so perfect for a couple who enjoy traveling from place to place without worrying about reservations and a lot of planning. The unlimited mileage affords the freedom to move that you want to feel on vacation.
Gerry was very helpful with one little electrical issue we had. Otherwise the van performed seamlessly and reliably to take us on more than 1300 miles of adventures in just one week!
Will definitley rent Sunny again and will recommend to our friends.

Gerald was phenomenal to work with. Excellent communication from start to finish. The van is also phenomenal. The main reason we rented Gerald’s van was to escape cold Joshua Tree nights but still have a great time in the dad/daughter camping group. Many that were in tents this year will rent vans like this one next year!
