Acerca de Rich and Stacey

We’re big outdoor enthusiasts, living in Thousand Oaks, Ca. We’re fortunate to be in an area with a lot of outdoor open space right outside our door. When we want to get out and explore new places we love using the van. We use Tillie for all kinds of trips, from long weekends to 10 day getaways. We bought Tillie new in 2021 and most people think it’s only a year old, we work really hard to keep it looking and operating like new. If you have never experienced the van life, gjve Tillie a try, it’s a great way to get into nature and yet have a lot of the comforts of home out there with you. Looking forward to meeting you! We rented this camper van for a two-night stay by the beach, and it exceeded all expectations. The van is beautifully maintained, extremely well equipped, and thoughtfully organized—it had everything we needed and more.
What really stood out was how easy the van was to drive, ride, and operate—even for someone without previous camper van experience. Rich gave clear, step-by-step instructions and walked us through how everything worked.
Overall, this camper van made our beach stay cozy, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend—we would absolutely rent it again!

We had the most amazing time! The van was spacious, the bed was comfortable and having a bathroom while camping is amazing! We will 100% be renting this van again! Can’t stop talking about how wonderful our trip was!

We had a great experience with the Van and the owners. Everything was taken care of and got explained in detail when I picked up the Van. The Van itself is in great condition and worked out perfect for my Family of 4. We took it out to the dessert for 3 days of dry camping and never had an issue with it. The Water tank was big enough and the solar + battery setup as well as the heater worked great. I´m 6´2" and was able ti fit in the lower bed no problem so our kids could have their own space in the pop up roof, which makes a difference when you bring them to bed earlier and still want to hang out inside the van for a while.

I thoroughly enjoyed the process of renting the Solis from Rich and Stacey! They are great people who maintain their vehicle immaculately. Rich went over every detail on how to operate the vehicle and left no stone unturned. The welcome fruit, wine and snacks was a nice touch. Looking forward to another trip one day. Thanks!

Perfect weekend trip to the beach for a family of 4. RV is clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were very thoughtful of what to supply in the RV. Pop up tent bedding fun and comfortable. Great communication and hospitality provided by Stacey and Rich. Thanks for the yummy cheese, crackers, and berries! :)

Rich and Stacey couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. They have clear communications and are super easy to work with. The Solis seating is much higher than I expected, but didn't take long to get used to it, and it is much more nimble than a Class C RV. We took the van to Joshua Tree National Park and this PX version with the generator and AC was a life-saver in the desert heat.

Unfortunately, we were in the process of updating our calendar with a new booking for the same time period, when we received Steve’s request. We contacted Steve within 15 min. of his booking and explained the situation. After giving him several other options for booking days, we both agreed that it would be best for us to decline the booking. Steve was very understanding about the situation and we thanked him for that.
