Do not rent this camper if you have kids or need a working bathroom. When we picked up this camper, we were surprised to learn that we weren’t allowed to use the toilet as it was intended - the entire reason we rented a camper in the first place. Apparently the black water system on this unit is “fragile” and has a known issue of clogging, and you can’t flush toilet paper (even the provided RV-safe toilet paper). This information wasn’t in the listing or the contract, though a clogging fee has since been added after we pointed that out.Over the course of a weekend, we used and flushed as little toilet paper as possible, but with two young daughters, it was unrealistic and unavoidable (and also, really gross) to expect that we could throw away every piece of toilet paper after wiping. We returned the camper with the black water emptied, propane filled, and generator fully gassed up, and we even used a vacuum from home to thoroughly clean inside. Despite all of this, we still lost $350 of our deposit - more than the cost of a night’s rental - for a “clog” that was not evident to us when we emptied the black water tank.Don’t make the same mistake we did - if you want the convenience of a toilet while camping, rent a different camper.
