About Mark's RV rentals
Louise and I have worked seasonally in Yellowstone National Park for a combined 56 summers and we love to share our love for the park with others. After tent camping for years, we decided to purchase our Roadtrek two years ago. We love the freedom it gives us to head out for adventure regardless of the weather and we have already enjoyed some glorious trips in and around Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We use the inverter to brew coffee and toast bagels in the morning. In the evening, we either cook on the propane stove in inclement weather or run an extension cord outside where we can barbecue with the electric grill. Given the propane furnace, we can even winter camp and bring the cross country skis along. We researched campers and class B RV's for nearly a year before deciding on the Roadtrek 190 Popular. It drives well and the smaller frame handles more like a regular car than a big RV. At the same time, the robust 6 liter engine gives it a lot of power for the mountain roads.

We had a great experience with Mark and his van. Mark was very responsive to all questions and made sure we were aware of all relevant details needed for a successful trip. The van was in excellent condition and was well equipped for all circumstances that we faced while camping. We would rent from Mark again.

This van was fantastic and Mark was a really great host. I rented the van for a quick trip through the north end of Yellowstone NP then over the Beartooth Highway on my way from Bozeman to Billings. I’ve camped a lot over the years with varying degrees of equipment and effort, this van was nearly effortless. The van allows you to pull into the campground and then a simple five minute setup and you are ready to go. The amenities of the van are well maintained, organized, clean and everything you need to camp very comfortably. Mark was a great communicator and friendly. He had a deep knowledge of the area and available campgrounds. I had not camped in this area before and had little knowledge except what can be found online. He steered me in the right direction for campgrounds and just gave good logistical advice overall. He also offered to pick me up and drop me back off at the airport, which was a really helpful part of the experience. I would absolutely recommend this van and would rent with Mark again whenever my plans bring me back to the Bozeman area.

The campervan was perfect for our family of 3, including a 7 year old. It was easy to handle and we could quickly setup at campgrounds (only 4 steps really: turn on propane tank, switch gas inverter on, switch fridge power to gas source, turn super fantastic roof fan on if hot outside) and reverse these 4 steps when leaving. The hot outdoor shower option was great for washing dirty feet and hair after hikes. Indoor gas cooking was a breeze. And the dvd tv surround sound setup was entertaining (took a while to figure out that the middle button at the power receptacle needed to be depressed - Mark, you may want to add a page to your comprehensive instructional binder). Before this, I had no experience with RVs and I was very impressed with the ease of use, handling and fuel economy of this rig. Overall, a great rig for a couple or mini family.

Renting Mark's 190 Popular was a dream. Incredibly friendly guy who will walk some amateurs through how everything works and then drop them off at the airport when the trip is over. Van was super clean, ran great and had everything we could have needed in it. Highly recommended!

The experience renting from mark was great. We couldn’t have asked for a better campervan or owner to rent from. Mark was amazing with communication prior to renting and gave us a ton of information on Yellowstone. I have a 2 year old so did not have time to research like I normally would for a trip so it was very helpful. We pretty much did almost all of what he recommended and it was perfect. We also had 2 nights in Bozeman prior to renting and he gave us some hikes there to check out as well and it worked out great.
Before we took off in the van mark gave a tour and a great informative session on everything in the van. He made sure we were comfortable and everything was answered before we left. There is also a binder that is easy to read and you can find any information you may need on the van. The notes around the van are super helpful as well and we were glad they were there.
As for the van itself it was awesome! If it’s available you should rent it, you won’t be disappointed. There were 3 of us, My partner and I and our 2 year old son and it worked out great. I didn’t feel cramped for space at any point. Our son still asks for the campervan. I loved the layout of it and the shower and toilet worked great. We left the bed down the whole time which worked out great. It was comfortable and the down blanket was warm and cozy. With all the curtains pulled it was dark enough to sleep past when the sun came up. We had great weather so we were outdoors a lot. I’m sure it would feel smaller with a toddler if we were unable to play outside a bunch. It was such a great van I would totally think of getting one myself one day! We loved it! The experience was great and if I ever go back I would rent from Mark again. Thanks Mark. Also, Mark went above and beyond by helping us on our way out of town so that was greatly appreciated as well.

This was our first experience with a camping vehicle, and it was smooth sailing all the way! Before making a final decision to rent the van, Mark put me at ease by giving me a contact number where I could reach him directly, and answering all of my questions with patience and respect for my initial fears about the endeavor. Upon arriving in Bozeman, Mark met us at the airport, making the transition seamless. He thoroughly explained all of the necessary procedures, everything was clearly labelled, and concise written instructions were provided in a well-organized binder in the van in case anything was forgotten along the way. There were no hassles or difficulties with any of it. The van is a great size for driving and fits into most regular parking places, so it's not much different than driving any other van-sized vehicle. Communication was excellent and everything we needed was right there at our fingertips. Once on the road, having a fridge was great (we saved a ton of money not having to eat at restaurants), the bed was roomy, comfy, and warm even on cold Yellowstone nights, and showering was easy! It was a luxury being able to rinse off immediately after hiking in the heat and washing off all that stinky bug spray! Obviously, having our own private bathroom when we were adventuring far from civilization was a blessing. I think I might have heard angels singing on several occasions while using it. My husband also appreciates a good nap when vacationing, while I like to take in as much as I can, so this was a fantastic way for us to simultaneously do the things that we like to do, without the worry of having to get back to a hotel room. I loved the flexibility it allowed us to explore without wasting time planning where our next meal or pit stop would be. After returning the vehicle, our damage deposit was refunded promptly, so no worries there either. I would highly recommend contacting Mark and renting his camper van for your next vacation - we loved it!

We enjoyed our first campervan experience! Mark could not have been more thoughtful, organized, communicative or a joy to work with. The campervan was well stocked and the training was just the right amount of time & well-structured. We had an amazing time in YNP, and would recommend exploring via this campervan!

We had the trip of a lifetime in Yellowstone! A big factor in our trip being so amazing was renting Mark's Roadtrek. From the moment we sent the first booking enquiry - Mark was amazingly helpful. He took us through the process, answered every question we had about the vehicle and sent us a huge amount of suggested tips/itinerary idea's for our time in the park. The van was in perfect condition and had everything you needed for an amazing trip. It was easy to drive, comfortable to sleep in, simple to cook in and just such a special experience seeing Yellowstone this way. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Mark! 11/10!!

We had a wonderful trip. Everything worked perfectly. It was our first time not tent camping. Outside was very cold. Mark provided all the linens and at our request had the bed set up with a great down comforter. Cooking was much easier than having to lug all the stuff in and out of the car in bear country. This is a great way to see out of the way spots.

Mark and his 2015 Roadtrek are the best! The camper van was in tip-top shape and was well supplied with what my wife and I needed for a week and a half on the road. The batteries and propane were more than sufficient for boondocking every night, and we only had to dump the tanks twice in ten days. Mark was very accommodating and informative, which was helpful since it was our first RV experience.

This was our first time renting an RV and right from the start we were very happy with our decision to rent from Mark. He was really responsive, met with us beforehand to talk about the RV and our itinerary and offered a ton of useful suggestions based on his knowledge of Yellowstone and the Tetons (our primary locations). They were spot on. The RV was nicely appointed with everything you could need on your trip and Mark’s orientation helped us be comfortable with all the systems and processes to operate them. I would rent from Mark again in a flash.
