We’ve been interested in buying our own camper van one day, so we saw this as an opportunity to really get the feel for the lifestyle. ‘This is the place’, we said in amazement upon stepping inside...well, this is the place before we get to the other place.’ This van might as well have been our destination as well; it was that good.We, our little family of 3 plus the pup, took a trip out to the Texas coast. I didn’t drive, but my husband did and remarked it was a very smooth ride.Wood paneling interior is a genius touch, as this is what creates a cozy cabin atmosphere. Only thing I would add to here is to add a backsplash behind the range.Foodies and the organized-minded will appreciate the massive amount of storage and counter space. Clean! Warm! Wool insulated walls kept us comfortable throughout the night. We all slept on the firm side of the bed, (flip side is memory foam).Aesthetic-wise, the van is social media friendly, you will look absolutely gorgeous in your instas. I imagine this would be perfect for festivals, as well. One thing I would add in this vein (vain, ha) is a mirror in the bathroom/shower.Dan and Ashley were great communicators, there were some technical snafus from Outdoorsy’s end post-booking, and we all worked through them no problem. They even checked in on us throughout the trip. They were very thoughtful, and invested in you having an effortless time. When was the last time you received a hand-written note from your vehicle rental?Thank you Ashley, Dan & Bear, for some very special memories! I am now manifesting many happy returns to this campervan until we can get the exact van and then we can twin off into the sunset.
