Hi, I'm Rachel. I've been in Denver for close to 10 years now enjoying the mountains, sunshine, and fresh air as much as possible. On the weekends, you'll find me hiking, camping, skiing, road biking, or just hanging out in a park with my friends. I've always been drawn to travel and adventure. I've backpacked through Europe, lived and worked in Scotland, served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica, and taught English in Taiwan. Co-vid has definitely slowed me down a bit on the international travel, but I've been loving exploring the gorgeous landscape right here in my own back yard. I love the freedom of traveling in a van - that you can easily park in downtown Denver or also get to a beautiful campsite with a mountain overlook or stream nearby. I love the feeling of waking up with the sun and cooking outdoors, the pride of accomplishment and the the incredible views from the top of a mountain, relaxing in one of the many hot springs after a day in the mountains, or soaking up the sunshine and paddling around one of Colorado's many mountain lakes or alpine reservoirs.
