This RV had several major problems. The most egregious was the failed electrical system. On our first evening camping, the battery went dead.. That had the effect of no lights and no running water. Hence, no showers or washing dishes. We texted the owner immediately who did not respond. We then called him and he admitted that the previous renters had run down the battery. It turns out that was not the problem. The second day fellow campers charged the battery full with a generator. Within a couple of hours the battery went dead again. We repeated this process the third day with another generator and the battery went dead again within a couple of hours. It also rained the first day and while trying to adjust one of the awning type windows, the window fell off. The owner had mentioned that the window was problematic and that we should not open it too much. We did not open it too much, and it just fell off its own hinge. The kitchen faucet was also broken. Despite several communications with the owner, the owner denied any problems. This was a thoroughly unsatisfying experience.

First time using Outdoorsy and loved it!! The booking and communication with the host is very convenient and user friendly (as long as the host responds) That leads me to my next topic. Brett was very responsive in a timely manner. He answered all my questions while on the road and even helped troubleshoot a few things. The trailer comes fully stocked with cookware, utensils, rv toilet paper, blankets, pillows, etc. The mattress is very comfortable. We traveled over 3500 miles from Texas, through Colorado up to Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons! Chaka was absolutely amazing and provided a place to call home and unwind after a long day of hiking. I would absolutely recommend taking Chaka on your next adventure!! Happy Trails!!
