Acerca de Alan & Kathleen Howe
Alan and Kathleen enjoy experiencing the wonders of nature through hiking, photographing, or simply relaxing. Their journeys typically include stays at multiple locations along a route thus making a class B camper van a monumental upgrade to car camping. Instead of booking stays that are the shortest drive from the places they like to explore, they now in many cases sleep at their destination of choice in luxury accommodations. This van gives us the ability to easily visit our favorite places here in the Pacific Northwest for weekend getaways or extended trips and we’d love to share this amazing way to travel with others.

We absolutely loved the camper van and Alan and Kathleen could not have been more gracious, helpful, and available! The van was meticulously clean. And the layout and features of the van worked very well for us. I particularly appreciated all the room for the “kitchen” area - plenty of room for stowing food, preparing, and cooking. They provided all the necessary cookwear and utensils - and the knives were sharp! And they were available during our trip as well when little issues of how to use something came up. Thanks Alan and Kathleen!

Alan & Kathleen were outstanding hosts! This was our first time renting an RV and our experience was excellent. Condition and preparation of the RV was as clean and complete as shown in the photos, if not better. It was a pleasure to drive. Host provided thorough instruction and offered great tips. Gracious and friendly interaction through the entire process. Clear and responsive communication from start to finish. So many online transactions today lure you in with great website images and description, only to let you down in real life after you commited with payment. Our experience with Alan & Kathleen was the opposite - they exceeded our expectations in every way.

We had a great experience with Alan and Kathleen's van. We were out for 10 days, heading up to Montana and to Glacier. The king size bed is great and would definitely recommend the topper option. We used the Keurig every morning to make coffee, cooked dinner in the van and utilized the bathroom for showering, though being taller I used the outside shower. The Dodge chassis rode nicely. We had no issues and 1 question during the trip to which we had very quick response from Alan and Kathleen. We would definitely recommend it!

We had an amazing experience renting from Alan and Kathleen. Everything about the camper van was as advertised. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. We rented this camper van because we were considering buying one. This was our first experience in any type of RV and we loved it. Our favorite features were the large sized fridge, the roll out pantry and the ability to separate the bed for easy night time access to the toilet without disturbing your spouse. Alan and Kathleen provided a well organized, thoughtful and easy experience. This is a rental to book!

We had an amazing experience from start to finish with Alan and Kathleen’s Roadtrek. They were so helpful answering all of our (many) questions leading up to the trip, and were available while we were on the road as well. They were just so nice and friendly and made our first Outdoorsy experience a blast.

Alan & Kathleen have been great and the van is really amazing. The owners spent the time to go through all the details at check-in (plan 1.5h for it) and it made the difference to be able to be fully comfortable with the van and its features. It was our first camping experience overall and we were in a camp with no water or electricity: this van made us enjoying every moment of it! we really recommend it!

First and foremost, we are "newbies" using the Outdoorsy app! Kathleen and Alan were so patience, kind and very flexible working our logistics from Portland to Albany. The van is loaded with all the essentioals! The 21' Ram was super smooth to drive and responded very well in curves. We were on the Santiam Pass. Without a doubt this Rig has everything for a full glamping experience. We absolutely loved having our doors open at nigh; all screens kept bugs and mesquitos out! We are so deeply grateful to Alex and Kathleen for gentle guidance, reassurance and willingness to do a thorough walk through & test drive prior to taking on our trip!!

This travel Van was perfect for our 2 day trip! The owners were really friendly & had a safe spot for us to park our vehicle while we used the Van. Supper convenient!
It was VERY clean inside and the king size bed was perfect, even for my 6’5 spouse!

Alan and Kathleen were both friendly and professional. They take their vehicle seriously and consequently, you have a seriously good time. Super smooth easy driving and comfortable from the driver’s seat to the bed. The cross ventilation made air conditioning non-essential in the heat of summer. The bed was comfortable, the slide out pantry stored more than expected as did the fridge. We camped with another couple and shared the cooking on a Camp Chef 3 burner grill. Could not have asked for anything more. A perfectly good time.
