We had a great trip with this camper, it is quite old but very confie and great engine.
The back door was actually bent in when we picked up the car which did not allow the back to close properly, making it a big issue when driving with snow (entering inside the van) and also on -20 celsius as the warmth did not stay in the van. Also good to remember to at least put chains in the car in case snow falls so we can be prepared. The tires were also not really good conditions.
Appart from that hosts are super nice !

We booked Reynaldo for 8 nights, for our first RV experience together , to visit Banff and Jasper and all I can say was that he was perfect. Collection and drop-off were incredibly smooth, and there was excellent communication with Shawn and his team leading up to the trip and throughout.Now to the van...Shawn has decorated Reynaldo amazingly, with ample storage for all your clothing and other items to make it an extremely comfortable trip. Also, Reynaldo has everything you need from clean bed linen and towels, cooking equipment, propane, charging sockets, fridge, camping chairs - you need it, Reynaldo has it - and most importantly a parks pass! Reynaldo was a pleasure to drive, great on fuel and had extremely comfy seats to spend the days driving in.He is old (with limited air con!) but if you want a trip where it is about immersing yourself in nature and stripping back to the basics, whilst still being extremely comfortable, then book Reynaldo and you will have the best road trip of your life! We had so many comments about Reynaldo's uniqueness and spent the whole trip smiling that we had Reynaldo instead of the generic RVs you see everywhere else.

My review is for potential new renters to have an understanding of what they will be getting if they rent a van from “No Bad Days”. I made reservations for the van rental Lolita (one pictured) back in March of 2023 for a 6 day rental for a solo trip around the Canadian Rockies.Review of the van:
I personally think that the van that is being rented out should not be on the road until many of the safety issues are addressed and fixed.
For one, you will notice the huge crack across the entire windshield along with two big divots where rocks have chipped at the windshield. Though it does not interfere with your line of vision, any rock or stone that hits it next has the potential of breaking the entire windshield while you're diving.
2. There is no rearview mirror in the van so you only need to use the side mirrors which the driver’s side is also cracked.
3. The warning lights on the dashboard are on and do not turn off
4. The main door of the van does not open from the inside causing a significant safety concern. If you need to get out of the van you need to climb over the cabinets behind the front seats.
6. When braking you will notice a sound when the brakes are “engaging” according to the host. The steering wheel will also shake significantly. If traveling through the Rockies you will be going down some very steep roads and the brakes and shaking will make anyone uneasy.
7. The van provides no privacy. The host will provide you with a curtain that you will need to hang up using binder clips. I stayed at several campsites and when the lights are on in the van, you will see right into the inside from both the back windows and the window on the main door. Again making anyone uncomfortable when needing to change or sleep.Review of the host:
2 days before my departure the host emailed me to let me know that the main door of the van did not open in front of the inside. I shared with them my concern regarding safety and they assured me that the van would be “fixed” for my arrival. Hours later they submitted a cancellation via “outdoorsy”. I explained to both the host and “outdoorsy” that they have left me the option of not canceling because there were no other rentals for my travel period. I had all my campsites reserved and leaving me with only 48hrs to find an alternative put me in a very bad position of potentially having to spend thousands of dollars more to change my car rental and accommodation, if I was even lucky to be successful and booking anything last minute.When I told the host during my 2nd day of the door “still not” working, they suggested that I interfere with my trip so that I can drive the van back to them 1.5 hrs away so they can see it. Not once did they ask if they could come to me to check it out.
The day prior and day of my departure really goes to show the type of host you will be dealing with. My rental agreement stated that I was to drop off the van by 1pm. The day prior I messaged the host to confirm drop off time. They mentioned to me that it would be 9:30 or that they can rent the van for an extra night. I mentioned that I did not think that was an option because I was told they had a renter that evening and needed the van back by 1pm. They then just responded with “oh yea, we need it back by 9:30”. I told them that the rental agreement stated 1pm. Even with the messages regarding fixing the van door, there was a lot of contradicting going on.The morning of my departure, I was notified that my evening flight was canceled. I made arrangements with the airline to get on an earlier flight. I informed the host that I would have to drop off the van at 10:30 due to the change of flight. The response by the host was “It does not work that way, you need to drop off the van at either 9:00am or 1:00pm”. I again explained the situation I was in and that I had no control over the airline canceling my flight and that I needed to take the next available flight home. This was not taken with any ounce of understanding from the host. I understand that this creates an inconvenience to the host but again you would think that there would be some empathy shown by the host and that they would try to accommodate meeting you at the time you can drop off the van. Unfortunately, the conversation escalated to the point that outdoorsy needed to be contacted and really didn't provide much assistance. The host made me feel so nervous that I would either miss my flight home or that if I just dropped the van off they would report it stolen if they were not there to receive it. Fortunately, the host was there and to say that the exchange was less than pleasant is an understatement. I was called a “Karen” and that my life must be so miserable because I was inconveniencing them with my situation and not doing as they wanted me to which was “ you have until 9:30am to bring back our van” I informed them I was 2 hrs away and that I messaged them as soon as I got off the phone with the airline. Their response was “stop making excuses and start driving”

Hi Ambar, It is quite unfortunate that you had to leave such a review when we did everything in our power before and during your trip to make it safe.Unfortunately Ambar, this is false information regarding the door and we have proof via our communication. We notified you of the door and you mentioned that you felt unsafe to continue with the booking and would like to cancel. We told you it would be fixed by Friday’s days end. Mechanical issues happen and we wish you were more understanding. We agreed to cancel your booking which you then asked to keep the booking and you wanted a guarantee that the door would be fixed, which it was. Again, we agreed with you to cancel your booking but in the end, you decided not to. These are all in the messages we exchanged with each other. As per your previous concern, we offered to FaceTime you to go through the issue with you which you declined. We never once asked you to come back with the van as we know you are on your holiday. We asked if you were around Calgary and if you were, we were willing to meet youWe accommodated your late pick up, and two late drop offs already. The morning of your drop off at 7:20 AM you messaged saying, (not requesting), that you would drop off the van at 10:30 AM. This is extremely inconsiderate as we have other renters lined up. We are always accommodating of people’s situations, we would hope you would be as well. Demanding to drop off our van is not a reasonable request. You mentioned that you were 3 hours away and were unable to drop off between 9-930 AM. After we spoke to Outdoorsy and they emailed you letting you know you have to drop off our van, somehow you were able to arrive at 9:30 AM.You arrived to drop off the van and you were extremely rude to us, and threatening us with a bad review and stating you were going to contact your credit card company to receive a full refund. We did everything we could to try and accommodate your needs numerous times but unfortunately you were never satisfied with any of it. We are sorry you had such a negative experience and we hope you are more considerate with your next booking.

Reynaldo is a lovely vehicle, very comfy and well laid-out, and super cute. No Bad Days were great, very nice to work with. We'd happily rent from them again.

Reynaldo was the best camper van we could’ve imagined for our week-long trip through the Canadian Rockies. The van was stocked with camping essentials and our hosts left us with plenty of towels, blankets, and toiletries. The van was easy to drive and was better on gas than I was expecting. Any questions or issues were quickly resolved by our hosts & we thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring the beautiful landscapes with this camper van. Reynaldo, we will miss you! Thanks for an unforgettable week!

If you want to experiment a true van life, go for it. The van have seen a lot of road but you will quickly feel than he want to see more. It's nice to drive it, very confortable on the road. We really enjoy the van, he had just what we need and more. It feel cosy, the bed is confortable despite his thickness. You have space inside for everything you want like cooking, reading, preparing yourself for your hike etc. The owner was great, we recommend everything. It was a good week for us.

Van has everything you need for a big trip away - had an amazing time in the Rockies. Would recommend but FYI the windscreen had a big crack, one rogue stone could have landed you in trouble.
