This has been a horrible experience. The unit broke down and i was unable to move from the location we first camped at. The communication with the owner has been sporadic at best. We had to leave the unit on site as we could not operate the slides and jacks to move the unit. The generator would not charge the batteries, we tried to jump the batteries to move the slides and jacks with no luck. We lost a day of real as we had to leave the RV behind. The RV has still not been picked up, yesterday a representative of the owner showed up to try and fix the RV but obviously was not a RV mechanic and could not do anything.
This has been a problem for the owner of the property that is know having to deal with this situation when he should not have too. Please advise what if anything Outdoorsy can assist with. The property owners last resort would be to tow the RV out to the street and have the county deal with removing it from the county road.

My family & I had a lot of fun on our vacation, but I would be remised if I didn’t mention the issues we experienced. Not expecting luxury, we rented this particular vehicle mainly due to its price. Some of the features advertised on it didn’t function properly, but were mostly forgivable. However, a number of things were particularly frustrating. Being told the fridge/freezer “took time” to get cold, after days on the road they never came to temp at all. We lost most of our groceries. Parts of the water & septic system didn’t work which included the the spray nozzle used to spray poop down the hole in the toilet, the tank sensors, there was no hot water despite the gas being turned on, & a drain in the kitchen was clogged & smelled like sewage. Mechanically, renting this vehicle out to the Average Joe seems borderline dangerous considering the state of the tires & wheel alignment. Alignment was so bad the turn signal must be held down & the whole vehicle shook while driving. Chalking that up to the age/experience of an older rig, later we found at least 2 tires had air leaks, one of which blew out on us while backing into our camp site which caused it to slide & almost tip.
It seems like a lot but this all took place over the span of a week & overall we DID still have fun! Shmulie kept in close contact with us which we were grateful for but the rig does need some serious maintenance…

Shmulie was excellent! He prepared the RV with lots of camping extras. The RV is older, but comfortable!

The RV was great! Schmulie was really good at communicating and got back to me quickly with any questions I had. Some of the things that needed to be fixed are the dry rotted wood the awning is bolted to and the alignment, but it wasn’t a big deal. I’m sure it will be fixed. I’d rent from him again. Good experience overall.

This rv is ready for adventure- just add food! The rig was packed with towels, toiletries, sheets, pillows, beach towels, flashlights, grill, grill utensils, and I am sure I am missing some items! The point is that Shmulie’s rv is thoughtfully packed. He was incredibly available when I had questions. The rig drove well and handled the Hocking Hills like a pro.
