Sara’s van had everything needed for traveling with the exception of making coffee and bedding. She does offer linens for an extra charge but since we traveled by air, we were a little disappointed that our first stop had to be to purchase bedding - including pillows and bath towels.

I love the van life but my experience with this owner was very poor.
First, she scheduled an interview for the same date and time as my pickup so she only had about 5 minutes to go through the van with me, which was not nearly enough time. She also seemed very flustered which made my experience stressful. During my trip, I taught myself a lot about the van through YouTube instead of contacting the owner.
Second, the van needed an oil change during my trip and the owner asked me if I could get it done. Instead, I decided not to use all of my miles so that I wouldn’t have to take time out of my vacation to get maintenance on a rental.
The listing states the van has a refrigerator (which was a must have for my 13 day trip) however the owner explained it uses too much of the solar power so I shouldn’t really use it. I used my own cooler instead and had to buy fresh ice daily. A note to the owner, come up with a new system or don’t advertise a fridge. I did however love the stove and the modern style and decor inside the van.
Next, the van was not clean when I arrived for pick up. There was pubic hair in the toilet and sand throughout the front seat area.
The van had a number of issues during my travel including a leak in the roof window, the side door constantly got jammed and wouldn’t open or close all the way, and the passenger door never locked on the first try.
Lastly, the owner did not meet me for the drop off and I had to leave the keys with her boyfriend. Unprofessional and not what I expected.

I rented LOLA so that I could experience #Vanlife and she didn’t disappoint. I travelled down to the Keys and had a wonderful time. Sarah was a fantastic hostess. I agree with all of the previous reviews.

Our three day jaunt with Lola to a nearby County campground was delightful. She has everything you need on board, and if she doesn’t, Sarah will take care of it. Definitely as described in the listing - and well equipped for off-grid camping (note that the A/C, if you need it, requires shore power). All the rest runs off solar and propane, so you’ll need exposure to sunlight daily to keep the fridge and lights running. Sarah was always very responsive and helpful. We had a great time!

All in all a great experience! The AC went out on us and the window control for the passenger side only worked through the driver controls but we had tons of fun and the build on this is beautiful! Also a pretty comfortable mattress for a van!!

Sarah was easy to get in touch with. Lola, the van, has everything you need for a fun getaway … even a super comfy mattress. The van was roomier than anticipated and perfect for my trip. Thank you again Sarah!

We've rented plenty of cabins, beach houses, condos, ect, but this is the 1st time we've rented any sort of camping vehicle. Sara Ann I hands down the best owner we've ever dealt with. Her communication is on point. You don't have to wait for an responses to questions, concerns, or anything related. She is more than accommodating and her home, Lola, was perfect for our trip. She provides everything from a projector for movies, games to play, chairs for relaxing, and a hitch to bring accessories, like the bike rack we brought along. If you're looking to rent a vehicle for your trip, look no further. Lola is exactly what you need and we will be renting again.
