About Paul's RV rentals

After many trips back and forth to Hawaii, we decided to sell our home on Long Island, New York and make Maui our permanent residence. We purchased a used Chevy Hightop Conversion Astro Van and headed west. We took two months and saw the United States in all its glory. On the way we fell in love with the van and all it had to offer. It was the best way we have ever travelled, and we realized how nice it was to take in the sights at our own pace. Before we knew it we had made it across the country and shipped the van off to Maui. Once we settled in on the island, the vanning passion took off. Being a career mechanic, custom car builder and exotic car collector, I started gathering ideas on how to transform the Astro van into the ultimate island transportation. Ten years later we now have four Chevy Hightop Conversion Astro Vans which have all been mechanically rebuilt. We also customized the interiors to accommodate overnight stays or just an awesome day at the beach with all the amenities. The passion became a lifestyle and we would like to share it with the world! We take pride in our craftsmanship and ask you to treat our vans with the utmost respect.. Great van, fun to drive around the island. Difficult for two people to sleep comfortably in, but a fun experience nonetheless. The van had some quirks like the gas gauge and the rear window not working. It came with everything you need to rough it around Maui, including sheets, pillows, sleeping pads, cooler, plates/utensils, beach chairs, etc. Overall, a fun way to experience the island!

We had a fantastic experience last week in this van (which had everything we needed including a great guidebook)! We drove to Hana, stayed on the East side for a couple of days, and then spent time in the South (while having some of our nights at camp Olowalu). The van was just the right size for all the adventures (a larger RV would be impractical for going East). Paul was really responsive, and made everything super-easy for us, including taking us to the airport!

I literally couldn't have camped with anymore luxury. From the out door pull down curtain shower to the DVD player to the awesome stove and am the utensils. This van is amazing and definitly made my trip. I will 100% be coming back to use any of Paul's vans. Aside from the can itself Paul is the f****n man. So person able and friendly. Gives you all the details of everything you'll want to do and more. You 'll want to hug this guy as Much as I did, the raddest of dude. The space in the van was insane and the turn radius was awesome too. Helped a lot backing into all the best views.

We had a great experience travelling with Pauls Van in Maui.
The matress is big enough for two people to sleep comfortable and there is lots of camping gear in the Van.
Pick up and drop off was also well organized. Thank you :)

We booked with Paul because of the great reviews , so it’s only seems right to keep the positive reviews coming.
Great service and communication from Paul. Super helpful with all our questions. Mahalo PaulI rate the van 5 star as well, it has character for sure but delivered with all our needs plus a few nice surprises. Paul will outfitit to your needs and “requests”, so just let him know and you’ll be set. We were fully sufficient to cruise the island at our choice making this easily the best trip to Maui I’ve had. No question this is the way to go if you want to immerse yourself into the Maui life of surf and sun.

Drives Perfectly. Sleeps Super Comfortable!!!
Pauls advices are the best and also his hospitality.
Paul is super Friendly and willing to help in any occasion.
Slept for 5 nights and could easily go for 50 nights if possible! Do not hesitate to call Paul for anything and he will gladly help.

We love this van! And working with Paul was a dream. First off, the van. It's comfortable, well appointed and unique. It's nice to look like a local and not a tourist when driving around Maui. We slept here for 6 nights -- and could have easily used it for longer. I strongly prefer this van to the VW buses (more reliable, bigger and better accoutrements). Wait till you try the captains chairs in the driver's and passenger seats. The cooking area is functional, the sleeping area is large and very comfortable and the van is easy and comfortable to drive.

What a great experience we had! The RV very confortable, clean, with many amenities and accessories. Easy to drive and park! Paul and Sam had been very kind and friendly. Awesome to be with you guys...will be back soon hopefully! Save the Chevy, I love it ;-)

Van went well. Definitely suits those wanting to cruise along at island speed. Comfortable to drive and for sleeping. Pickup and dropoff arrangements with Paul and his colleague Sam were smooth. Recommend it for others!

Nice véhicule, clean and reliable! The shower and water tank are a most ! Many useful items included, such as beach chairs, fan, mattress, few cooking ware, etc. We had a great time with this RV

We had a great time in Maui! The Chevy van has everything you need and is in our opinion the best way to explore the island. Never had any problems to sleep in the wild. Paul and his crew will take care of you and even pick you up at the Airport. Mahalo!

We had a great time visiting Maui thanks to Paul's van (Chevy Asro Van 2003)! We have been able to drive all along the west island + the road to Hana. We rented a car to drive to Haleakala because the road is not easy for van. We slept on Beach parks parking next to Lahaina, in front of the ocean.... Never had any problems. Paul is a very nice host and cares a lot, at our arrival he explained us a lot of things about Maui and was kind enought to send me back a bag I forgot in the van after we dropped it off. We definitely recommend. Thanks again Paul !!

Paul is by far the most amazing host that I have ever come across. I have travelled all around the world and I have never met anyone so relaxed, easy going, super friendly and reliable like Paul. He gave my sister and I great information on everything we needed to know about the van and told us which campgrounds were good to stay at. In terms of the vehicle, it was perfect! Paul is a mechanic and made the van super neat and reliable. It was very reassuring to know that Paul kept his van in perfect running condition (it even has automatic lights!). As we were travelling around Maui we saw some old VW camper vans breaking down on the side of the road - we were so glad we decided to not hire out an old VW van but instead hire Paul's astro. We only have positive things to say about Pauls van, he equipped it with everything we need even an outdoor shower. We had the best time cruising around Maui in the van and would highly recommend Paul to anyone who wants to hire a van. This is by far the best way to check out Maui! We loved it so much and we miss the van already!!
