Happy Camper RV Rentals is a family owned company. We are a fun, loving family and love to do outdoor activities together including camping and desert trips! We provide trailer rentals all throughout California as well as delivery, setup and pick up! Excellent rental experience. Albert and Kelly were super friendly and very responsive with any inquires. They were also very flexible with my pick up and drop off times. The trailer had everything we needed for our trip and I would definitely rent again. I would highly recommend renting from Kelly and Albert for all your RV rental needs.

This was our first time renting a camper for a weekend getaway. We had such an amazing time. Albert and Kelly from Happy Campers went out of their way to help us out and make sure we were set up for some weekend fun. Our kids had the best best time and we can't wait to get out and create some more memories. Thanks!

There were just too many problems with this travel trailer. First, the extended slide out. This did not work properly. I needed help (other campers) to pull out and push in manually. The slide out did not go all the way. Second, the heater. This to me was one of the biggest issue since I was camping in Utah. It got very cold at night and the heater just blew cold air and did not heat. I tried to trouble shoot with their employer, but did not work. Third, the right propane tank seal (looking at front of the trailer) was leaking gas. We initially turn on the right tank once we got to camp but immediately smelled propane gas which was not good. We closed up the valve and turn the left tank on instead and luckily did not leak. Forth, the inside range fan and range light inside the trailer did not work. Fifth, the toilet peddle flusher broke off and flapper does not go up after a few uses. Six, many of the cabinets rails were broken so we did not use the cabinets much. Lastly, I had bed bug bites all over me. The mattress that was in the trailer had bed bugs. I showed the employee bites on my arms and legs. I just looked at the past review and it seems this trailer has a history of bed bugs. I am very surprised that the company did not take care of this problem. I would not be renting out this trailer like this. Not a good experience at all.

That is probably all I need to say about this trailer: I highly recommend finding something else to rent. Two weeks after our trip, we are covered in bites and dealing with the NIGHTMARE of sanitizing our house. Here's what you should know before renting:

Despite some relevant needed repairs to the trailer the overall experience was satisfactory. The owner was quick to respond to any of my questions and/or concerns and is very easy to work with. However, the Outdoorsy images of the trailer needs to be updated to replace the stock images of the inside of the trailer.

3-star rating is pending: Outdoorsy is working with us on issues, but the owners of this specific camper are not. I would not recommend this camper AT ALL, but Outdoorsy is still a good company.

Everything was ok with the RV but owner cannot deliver to San Elijo state campground. I ended up have to trailer the Rv and setup myself which cut into my trip. Worse part was owner still charged me for delivery and setup and breakdown and pickup.

Very nice unit, clean and great layout for our family of 4. Well stocked and was much nicer than the images looked so we were happy. Lawrence was responsive and easy to work with. thank you!
