The RV was great! It's a real workhorse and had no trouble dealing with the mountains as well as the sideroads. A very stable drive. All of the amenities were in working order and the bed was comfortable.

There were a couple minor things on this vehicle (main cabin roof fan inoperable, bathroom small sprayer did not work, lightbulb and SRS dash lights on at pick-up and throughout the trip), but overall a spacious, comfortable, and generally sound van. We had everything we needed, with a great oversized bed, ample storage, strong AC (chassis and camper), and an engine and transmission that took on the passes with no issues at all. We did have to clean the van for 2 1/2 hours after pick-up (dirt, dust, grime, spills, owner items) before packing our own things - which was less than ideal, but maybe usual for an independent owner rental.

The trouble started at pickup...Owner said check engine light was on because of DEF (Diesel Engine Fluid) and to ignore it. During our trip the DEF caution, lightbulb caution, and SRS warning lights all illuminated on dash. Additionally, the display warned of "X" starts remaining prior to each start! I messaged owner who told me it just came back from service and not to ignore it. Guess what happened when the starts remaining reached zero? The vehicle was disabled and had to be towed! I won't bother to get into the details of the inconvenience this caused us, but it was unacceptable and could have been avoided.As far as the rest of the camper is concerned, I would say this is NOT the vehicle you want to take somewhere without an electrical hookup. Unfortunately, it doesn’t charge the house batteries when driving so, without shore power, the batteries will deplete unless the generator is used to charge. The generator is loud and obnoxious especially at a campground and we avoided using it as much as possible especially since we had to be careful not to run out of propane and find a balance between recharging the batteries and having heat at night.
