About Sam Holstein
Hi, I’m Sam – your host! I’ve owned and built out a number of rigs over the years and have always loved hitting the road to camp, explore, and chase a little adventure. Whether it’s a quick weekend in the mountains or a long, meandering road trip, I believe the best moments happen off the beaten path. I’ve set this rig up to be simple, comfortable, and capable – so all you have to do is turn the key and go. Let me know if you have any questions!

Van was as described, pick up and drop off were very easy. My husband and I were wanting to test out the van life. We did a two night camping trip with a lot of rain. We stayed dry and had a wonderful time! We would rent this van again in the future.

The camper was perfect for the camping trip I took in the woods with no water or electricity. Thanks to the solar generator, the fan in the roof made sleeping very comfortable and I was able to charge my cell phone! The van took all the bumps and ruts getting into the site. The storage was nice to have, and I made use of the chairs that were provided. I had not camped in a long time, and it was so nice to not be on the ground in a tent. The double futon-type bed was great! Sam, the owner, was more than helpful as I had never rented an RV before. She answered all my questions and was very timely in her replies. I came home early from my trip and Sam was able to adjust the rental, which I truly appreciated. I would highly recommend renting Vincent Van Gogh! P.S. - I did 4 stars on how clean it was. The camper section was very clean, great linens. The driving console looked like it may not have been missed during cleaned from the last trip. I cleaned it and moved on.

We LOVED Vincent. & Sam was super easy going & accommodating! He was perfect for our weekend getaway! 10/10 would recommend :)

We needed a last minute solution for our camping adventure and were so excited to find Sam’s listing! They were quick to respond, and the van was exactly as advertised. We would definitely do #vanlife again. Happy trails!

Sam's van was perfect for what we needed. Basic accommodations give you more comfort than camping but the ease of being on the road. Got about 15 miles per gallon, tank is about 32 gallons or so. Van is easy and comfortable to drive, AC works perfectly. The battery had plenty of charge at night to run the lights, fan, and charge our phones. If you're thinking about renting from Sam, do it! You won't regret it!
