We showed up to find that our RV in a non working condition due to the generator and/or fuses not working. We then spent 8 hours of our first day of the trip working with the owner to try and remedy the situation to get the RV working but it was a failure. The owner and my group did everything possible but were forced last minute to accept the RV in its condition. Our entire trip was diminished due to the fact that we had no power, ac, fridge, stove (basically everything that we paid for).After 7 hours of cleaning and return of the RV the owner became non responsive and even took the entire security deposit with no reasoning behind it and no response. I was forced to go through the Fairclaims arbitration process which took months of stress/planning. When the evidence was submitted, I found that the owner lied and tried to blame my group for tons of repairs, cleaning, damage that was clearly not our fault and she had no proof for. The arbitrator did not believe any of her claims and my group was rewarded our deposit back in the end.
