About Mike G
Our goal is to serve other outdoor enthusiasts who are considering buying their own van (giving them the ability to try one before they commit to it). My goal is to facilitate connecting with the outdoors. There are so many amazing national parks to explore - it's pretty much impossible to soak it all in in just a day or two. Follow us at Californiavanlifellc on IG for more content with the vans. We are obsessed with the customer experience and plan on offering a great experience to all renters!

The van was exactly as described. Mike had everything we could need for our time in the van to make it comfortable and easy. He gave us a great run through before leaving and answered all questions. We had so much fun in the van and would definitely rent from Mike again!

Mike was amazing with everything from the start of the rental to the end. He took the time to introduce us to the van’s features until we were comfortable to ride out. We spent 5 days in Sequoia and Yosemite and the van performed amazing. Very easy to drive, very fuel efficient and all the amenities came in clutch! 1000% would rent again. Thanks Mike!

From start to finish, the experience was stress free. Mike was very easy to reach, and answered any and all questions quickly. The RV was very clean, drove well, and was comfortable inside. It was exactly as advertised. We would highly recommend this host, and this vehicle.

This was our first time using any kind of RV and it couldn’t have been more user friendly! Mike did a great job showing us how everything worked. It was a smooth ride and comfortable place to spend our weekend in King’s Canyon. Will definitely rent again!

Mike provided great customer service from the minute the rental started. He went over the ins and outs of the van, and was responsive when i reached out to him. The van was a perfect fit for my wife, 4 year old daughter and myself, and even though I snore like a bear, we slept like logs for two nights. I surprised my girls with the rental and wish I could've taken a picture of their face when I pulled up, they loved it! We took a quick trip up to Shaver Lake which is an hour drive and 5,500+ ft climb. The van performed really well for being almost 25 years old, slow lane climb but no struggle. The fridge kept the cake cold and the easy access to water allowed us to clean up easy breezy. For the most part it didn't feel like a 25 year old van. Great experience, looking forward to saving up for the next trip. Thanks Mike, keep on truckin!

We had an amazing experience renting from Mike! The van itself was immaculate - we’re a couple in our 30s and used the van to explore Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. We especially appreciated the van pickup experience, how equipped we felt in the van, and the quality of it all. Definitely go with Mike if you’re looking to explore these parts or others nearby.

Mike was a fantastic host and provided me with the coaching I needed to feel more confident about the vehicle and its various functions. He was kind and made himself available to answer all of my questions. He also offered up some additional camping supplies that were very helpful to me on my adventure.

Our trip was incredible! From the start, Mike was extremely helpful and made the camper van rental process painless. He answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations on places to add to our agenda for the week. He picked us up right from the airport, showed us the ins and outs of the van, had an assortment of necessities for us to take with us, and sent us on our way. The van fit our family perfectly and the sleeping beds were surprisingly comfortable. We can’t wait to hear back to Yosemite soon and will definitely book with Mike and California Van life again!

Mike was awesome. The van was exactly as advertised. Mike went above and beyond meeting all of our needs with supplies and gear. This was especially important as we flew into Fresno with light luggage for the whole trip.
My son and I enjoyed an epic trip to Sequoia > Kings Canyon > Yosemite. I highly recommend this host and the site in general.
We are planning to make a national park trip an annual thing now.
