We had a great time in The Love Shack! It was perfect for our 3-night trip to Lubec with two dogs. Lee provides everything you need from chairs to The Clam shelter to a propane stove. We brought our own mattress topper - highly recommend for the futon bed. The process was seemless. Lee is extremely flexible in regards to pick up/drop off. We would definitely rent The Love Shack again! Camping in a tent is overrated! Try Van Life instead!

Absolutely loved this van! Fully equipped, a dream to drive and everyone was smiling and waving at me wherever I went. Thanks to Lee for her great communication and her daughter for handling the pick up and drop off. Would love to take it again next time I'm back in maine.

The Luv Shack was a fun vehicle to rent and was perfect for our camping trip to the White Mountains. The pull out futon bed was relatively comfortable, the storage under the bed for clothes and other items was nice, and the van drives pretty well. It's a funky, DIY van conversion that was fun and functional but also sacrificed a bit on some details. The dishware storage was a bit disorganized and the items had a thrift store randomness and quality to them, the flashlight batteries were dead, and the silverware storage containers had slots in the bottom allowing items to slide through making it difficult to put the container in and out of its space. The icebox is as advertised but didn't really keep things very cold. It was nice they provided a separate cooler to keep things cold. For cooking you're provided a standard propane camp stove and they have an easy to use table that made cooking out the back door convenient. We were fortunate to have great weather for our trip, but if it's inclement weather this outdoor cooking option wouldn't be so nice. There was a propane grill also in the van but it was so rusty and dirty that we opted not to use it. Overall, we enjoyed the Luv Shack and would recommend it to others looking for a fun camper van to rent.

The Love Shack was a great first time camper van experience for me and my two dogs. She rode well and maneuvered easily through various camp sites and parking lots. I soon felt very much at home and became attached to the rusticity and simplicity of camper van living.
