I booked this camper completely on a whim, as I knew I had a friend's wedding to attend in Vancouver, but I more than just a quick weekend out west and back. Basically, I was looking for an adventure. The idea of renting a campervan came to mind, and as I surfed the web I came across Sunshine Campervans on Outdoorsy. For some reason, this little Jeep spoke to me, and the price was right so I went for it.I had no idea what to expect or what I was getting into, but with hindsight I can say for sure I made a great choice. Right from the get go, Raphael was amazing as a host. The very next morning he responded to my booking inquiry, and every email and question I had he was super nice and quick to respond. He walked me through the process and in no time everything was setup and booked in the Outdoorsy app, and he even found ways to save me money.And boy, what an adventure it was! From Golden Ears to Squamish to Whistler to Nanaimo to Victoria and back and everywhere in between, I think I put on almost 1000km. The Jeep worked great, was mechanically A+, and was decent on gas despite my heavy foot and the hills of the Sea to Sky and Malahat. I will note for those curious it is a fairly barebones vehicle - for example there are no power locks nor power windows, so keep that in mind if you are unfamiliar. However, it's not meant to be about luxury, it's about getting where you want to go and having an adventure. Plus, I actually didn't mind this, and I enjoyed the nostalgia of hand rolling up my windows like I did as a kid in my Dad's truck.The rooftop tent was super easy to operate, and I managed to figure it out in the dark on the first night. It can be set up or folded away by one person in just a few minutes, which was great! It also kept me cozy, warm, and dry when it was pouring rain, and the interior light works great for reading. For a big husky guy, I found it plenty spacious; but if you have two larger people like me it might be a bit tight, so keep that in mind. As well, all of the camping equipment, from the headlamps, to the stove, to the cooler, to the coffee press, worked great and were put to good use by me. Everything was arranged in totes with bungee straps to keep it all secure, and there was also a giant jug of fresh water and an emergency kit included. All I had to do was bring a sleeping bag and get groceries - Raphael literally had everything covered.Overall, I had a wonderful trip with Sunshine Campervans. Everything honestly exceeded my expectations, and I'm so happy I was able to see and do so much. As well, Raphael was as excited about my trip as I was - you can tell he is truly passionate about this project and sharing this beautiful province with visitors. In the end, I give Sunshine Campervans a 5 star recommendation - definitely give them a try, you'll enjoy it!

We had a great time. Raphael’s jeep is perfect for a little getaway. It comes with everything you could need for camping (pots, mugs, cutlery etc), plus the extra additions ( salt, pepper, coffee) gives the extra touch.
Smooth drive, low on gas, and spacious interior.
Super friendly and communicative host.
Loved it! One of the highlights of our BC summer, will definitely be booking with Raphael again.

Such a great experience with Raphael’s camper van. It was our first time to camp in the BC, and we are not very experienced to camp neither. Plus it was our very last minute to book this camper van and the trip. Raphael wanted us to share his experience and gave some tips. The communication with him was super smooth and easy! We even texted few times during the trip, his response was very fast! Overall, the car and tent are well-maintained and clean. And the tent itself was also easy to set up. It was such a blast experience and I will definitely book again in the future!

We had an amazing experience with Raphael's car—Full Moon! The car itself is great to drive, clean, and spacious. It has everything you need, and Raphael organized everything neatly in easy-to-carry boxes—stove, cooking utensils and cutlery, fridge! And so much more. The fridge was particularly super helpful since we camped for three nights and did not have to deal with ice bags and melted ice later.

Raphael is an excellent host, so communicative and helpful and great to deal with. The jeep and the tent were ideal for a quick camping weekend away, and all of the additional extras he provided made it a more comfortable experience. Perfect for a couple of two friends. Would recommend to anyone!

Thank you so much Raphael and your family for providing us with an amazing road trip. Went above and beyond with providing cooking and camping utensils and setting up the tent was quick and easy. Was very accommodating to our needs and the car drove like a dream. Best lake weekend ever! Thank you!
