I am a passionate ultramarathon runner and love outdoor adventures whether it be running, biking, climbing or fishing. Squamish has become my new home coming from Germany a couple of years ago. Some of my favourite trips are down the Paradise Valley in Squamish and up the Squamish Chief.

Mechanically sound, great camping van!

The van was perfect for small trips in the nearby. It’s an old guy, so don’t expect to drive it for thousands of miles, but for Vancouver Island or Squamish or Garibaldi Parks, it will do the job

Traveling with John’s van was great. Really spacious, clean and just a fun ride. Great size to stay mobile too.

Great experience! Van was “as-described”: a few quirks that John was upfront about and explained ahead of time. Ran and handled really well, even up steep sections of the Sea-to-Sky highway.
Van was well-equipped with cooking supplies, dishes, etc and great little stove that seemed new.
This trip was for me and my brother so we appreciated the separate sleeping areas.

The blue westy is a dream. I didn’t want to return it at the end! John is great and would totally recommend him and his van.

John was super helpful with everything and we really loved the Westphalia van. With the Thule bike rack it was perfect for our mountain bike trips around Squamish.

Great van for road tripping around Vancouver Island! Had everything I could possible need and was very comfortable and a great size, easy to park and cool and clean etc. Very grateful for John and all his help and always getting back to me so quickly!

We had an amazing trip with John’s van. It’s equipped with everything you need. There is enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids ready for a fantastic experience. John was always reachable and friendly when we had questions or to provide some goods address / hikes spots.

John has been super helpful in every way possible. He replied quickly, was always available and has great tips and advice in and around Squamish. The VW offers a lot of space and was great to drive! With lots of amenities it leaves nothing to be desired for a camping get away! We had a great ride.

Just the best way to visit and enjoy the Squamich/Whistler region. The van works great and it got everything you need. The bike rack in the back was really usefull to go around with mountain bikes that we have rented. John was kind enough to give us some nice direction around the region.
