This was my 1st time renting an RV. It was a great experience for me & my 2 teenagers. Josh took excellent care of us. Sent us off with all the info we needed. It was well stocked, & he’s done a lot of work tweaking the space for optimal usability. Vanderella handled mountains, volcanoes, Hwy 1, and the hills of San Francisco like a champ. We were able to park easily in every parking lot and even go through a couple of drive thrus! The solar/battery never ran out during the night. Perfect for boondocking. Heater worked great & it’s well insulated so we didn’t have trouble staying warm and cozy down into the 40s. There is no AC in the back so be aware if you’re traveling in the heat of summer… park in shade or it will get uncomfortably warm in the van. Cassette toilet was super easy to use. Shower is uncomfortably and impractically small, so we used it as a closet, but Josh set up an awesome outdoor shower.

We rented the van for a two-week trip across the south west USA and very much enjoyed van life. The van has decent space and the pop-up is a great addition. It was also decently equipped with everything you need for cooking and life off-grid. We used both the pull-out bed and the pop-up one and both were comfortable. It’s a very simple van to drive and use-the mechanisms are simple for both water filling and grey and black tank emptying. The best though was our host Josh! When he dropped off the van he said “my casa is your casa” and that was how it felt. He left us some coffee, beer, cooking spices and a bunch of other things you may end up needing during your trip. He was also very flexible and punctual-pick-up and drop-off were very smooth and during our trip he was super available and willing to help with any questions or any problems we encountered during the trip. This trip made me want to get a van myself!
