About Alina's RV rentals
Hello campers! We are Alina and Elijah, we love to explore, adventure and camp with comfort. With mobility of travel trailers that we would love to share, you too, can camp with comfort and ease. Our nice trailers are perfect for campgrounds or short dry camping trips, they are light too so it wont be much of a tow problem. We also offer delivery or just a simple pickup in Lakeside. Campers new to trailer camping are all welcome, we are more than happy to assist you in any way to make memories last long!

Left on Memorial Day. A lot of problems with the trailer.
No propane, cold shower, no heat, problem with the air conditioner running all night, very cold. We had to borrow an air mattress & sleeping bag to stay warm. The mattress was very flat, which is why we had to borrow the air mattress & sleeping bag. The stove did not work. The door was very hard to close & lock.

ATTENTION: This review is misleading and omits key facts. Every issue claimed was never reported during the trip, never attempted to be resolved through prompt support that was given, and is the result of renting inexperience and ignorance. The propane tank was full, as documented and singed by records and walkthrough. The guest ignored support attempts for over 24 hours between messages, ignored troubleshooting guidance, and failed to report "major issues" to Outdoorsy during the trip as required. The trailer was returned fully functional. Complaints like a “flat mattress” or “door stiffness” were never raised during use and reflect personal expectations, not rental faults, even though the entire trailer is shown on the listing page in great detail. The situation appears inflated post-trip to seek a refund rather than based on actual deficiencies. Outdoorsy reviewed and declined a full refund for good reason. This is a case of misuse and ignorance, not rental service/trailer provided.

Trip overall when great. The host was very flexible with us. We did not know the trailer came as is but the person dropping it off got us everything we need to make the trip successful. Great customer service!

Check in was very detailed. Process was very good. We had some issues with the water pump. Trailer tows great. Alina was expert in his trailer write up and amenity description. Would rent again from him.

To start, the owner was late for the scheduled pick up time which was at a storage yard, this should have been our first clue that the trailer may have issues. Owner dismissed our concerns about low tire pressure, saying "well they have air"; we had to fill tires with air immediately since they were both under inflated. When asked if the propane and battery were full and charged, owner answered vaguely saying "I think so", "should be" and "previous rented said they filled/topped off" - unfortunately they weren't and we had to stop before we left on our trip to fill the propane since it was almost empty. Battery was not charged either and fridge would not cool, even after driving to our destination. Called the owner to see what he would recommend and he told us the fridge did NOT use propane! Bad news! Food spoiled since the battery could not keep up with the fridge, thus super low battery the entire trip, and overnight went down to zero. Could not use lights or heater. We used our own generator for power but the battery was not good. Mattress was dirty and well worn. Dirt under all interior storage areas, looked like it had not been cleaned or vacuumed after last use. Fridge was dirty as well as sinks and toilet. Storage area above bed was sagging. Refrigerator door was mounted backwards so it opened to the bathroom instead of the kitchen and hit the table so it didn't even open all the way. Ridiculous! Leveling jacks were bent and one was a different size than what the owner said so the drill we brought didn't work. Had to use our own blocks since there was no way to level it. We think we are owed a partial refund due the poor condition of the unit and the non-functioning refrigerator and freezer, leveling jacks, heater - all due to the lack of diligence by the owner. We believe the owner knew of these problems, but didn't disclose and rented the trailer out anyways. We would have cut short our trip but had commitments with our family so we could not leave and had to stick it out. Very dissatistied. I would give the experience zero stars.

Hello Steve. Thank you for your time and a detailed review. We apologize for your bad experience with renting a trailer, but at the same time, we want your review to be truthful and not mislead future renters.To begin with, I was not late and arrived on time to hand over the trailer, I was already at the storage yard when you arrived at the gate and it took me about three minutes to get to the gate and open it for you. I sincerely apologize if I kept you waiting for a long time. Regarding the tire pressure, I said they had enough air because before handing the trailer off, I checked the pressure and everything was in order. Besides, I don’t understand why you are openly lying about the propane level, because you and I had a chat via text about this (It is all saved) and there were about 5 out of 6 gallons of propane and you agreed with me that this was more than enough for your trip.The refrigerator indeed did NOT use propane, which is the way the trailer and the fridge were manufactured. Just like the refrigerator itself, unfortunately, I cannot change the way its door opens and this is something that was just not very well thought out by the manufacturer.It was also surprising to read your untruthful comment about cleanliness. We clean and record the outside and the inside of the entire trailer every time for just such occasions. We have evidence that the trailer was clean and in order. We rent out the trailer in perfect condition, as previous renters write about, and thank us for the excellent service.It’s a shame you feel you have to over-fabricate this story and insult us as a host and outdoorsy as a platform to make us look unfavorable. It just looks like you want to use the platform for free by inventing non-existent problems.

Alina’s Rv was awesome and did the job! He was more than generous, helping us figure out how to properly secure the trailer to my difficult suv hitch and we were so grateful. Everything worked great, unfortunately the generator was not available but the supplied extension cable worked perfect giving us power from a friends gen.

Great weekend! All contact with the host was great. Pick up and drop off was timely and smooth. The trailer was in great condition. Everything was very clean and functioned properly.
