Acerca de Lloyd Fassett

I'm Lloyd and my wife is Suzanne. We've been in Bend, Oregon since 2007 and brought up our 4 kids here. The next stage of our lives is on the horizon though as we will become empty nesters in summer 2024. We both work remotely and our van is a part of our dream trip of exploring North America while we live in the van full time for 1, maybe 2, maybe 3 or more years while we keep working. It's set up for staying days in beautiful spots in nature (more Lloyd) and exploring towns and beaches too (more Suzanne). We bike, lift weights, hike and paddleboard in our stay-in-one-place life and plan to do all those things on the road. We're really excited to find lakes down some forest service road to set up camp in to work, paddle board and hike during the week and then explore the next town down the road. We have a guest book in our van for people we meet along the way and for any renters to add to if they'd like. Just add your name, date, mileage on the van and location and then anything after that you'd like. We really like the idea of other people reading other entries as if the van itself is connecting the people, places and time.
