Everything was awesome with hosts & RV. It was perfect for our needs and the size was great for two amateurs. Made some great memories. Only one small frustration - was that neither the am/fm radio or Bluetooth worked, which is definitely needed when traveling 1500+ miles. Bought a Bluetooth speaker and used that so it wasn’t the end of the world, just a little inconvenient.
My experience with Outdoorsy was not as pleasant. A birthday sign was taped on the back of the RV and unfortunately peeled some paint off. When the hosts notified outdoorsy, they immediately filed a claim with my insurance without permission. Never gave the hosts the option of taking from my security deposit or us resolving the issue another way. Be aware that Outdoorsy makes you purchase their “protection policy” but the fine print says it’s only a secondary or “excess” policy.

They included instructional videos, which was very helpful. Many basic supplies were included with the rental (kitchen supplies, sheets, pillows, etc.). It drove smoothly and got decent gas mileage - around 11 mpg. The brakes worked effectively but required a lot of foot pressure. The backup camera wasn't much help. Maybe needed cleaning. The owners communicated well and were quick to respond to questions.

This was our first time renting an RV. It was a good size for our family (3). We appreciated the videos for set up and the owner was very communicative throughout. There were multiple issues that frustrated us; missing sewer connection piece, blinking lights in the kitchen and living room area, the fridge froze our food bc the temp gauge had previously been knocked out. Drawers for kitchenware and undercarriage were dirty and messy. All in all, I felt the owners should have cleaned and done better inventory prior to renting, especially for $227/night.

Everything was amazing! the RV ran and handled really well, and had numerous items in it that came in handy that we didn't think of! The hosts were able to talk me through any questions I had and communicated effectively!
