Unforgettable Yukon & Alaska Adventure!
We rented two truck campers from Simon through Outdoorsy for a bucket-list trip with my wife, our two children, and my parents, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
We set out to complete the Golden Circle from Whitehorse to Skagway, but an unexpected landslide changed our plans near the end of the trip. Despite circumstances completely outside anyone's control, Simon was fantastic. He patiently answered all of our questions, was incredibly responsive, and remained flexible as we adapted our itinerary.
The trucks and campers performed flawlessly throughout the journey. Everything worked exactly as expected and came equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free adventure.
What followed was an unforgettable experience. We saw bears, bald eagles, glaciers, waterfalls, and some of the most spectacular scenery we've ever encountered. Because of the landslide, we ended up taking the Skagway ferry both ways, which allowed us to experience the route both clockwise and counter-clockwise. While not part of the original plan, it turned into a unique opportunity to see even more of this incredible region.
One of the highlights was the breathtaking drive from Haines to Haines Junction, easily one of the most beautiful stretches of road any of us have ever travelled. Along the way, we stayed at amazing locations including Million Dollar Falls and Pine Lake, making memories we'll talk about for years.
Simon was a wonderful host throughout the entire experience. His communication, flexibility, and commitment to ensuring we had a great trip were greatly appreciated.
If you're looking to explore the Yukon, Alaska, Skagway, Haines, or the Golden Circle, I highly recommend renting from Simon. He helped make our long-awaited family adventure truly unforgettable.

Overall great experience. Simon was easy to communicate with, flexible on pickup and drop off times so we could coordinate with our flights to and from Whitehorse and the camper and truck were clean and ran well!

This RV was perfect for our stay, had absolutely everything we needed and Simon made sure it was well equipped before we went on our way. Extremely clean and comfortable. Very easy process for pick up and drop off. We’ve never stayed in an RV before so we came into it completely blind but learned how to operate and everything very very easily. Simon gave us a good run down before we went on our way too. He is also extremely helpful and very responsive. He was also nice enough to offer to drive us to the hotel after drop off which was so nice of him. Highly recommend renting this RV with Simon, smooth process and way more affordable than the other options out there.

Simon was very prompt in answering questions, very helpful to us, have the best experience ever, even giving us extra blankets just in case! The camper had everything we needed, the furnace came in so handy chilly mornings! Very clean, good shape, and reliable truck and camper. Make sure sure you listen to the Yukon CD in the camper! 🙂

Great experience, with the camper, which was perfect for our trip, despite an issue with the heat on the first night that resolved itself for the rest of the trip. All the necessary for living (cooking, sleeping, showering, chairs, axe, wood, etc...) were included, and even a generator (which we did not even have to use since the battery lasted the 5 days of our trip). And the truck itself worked great and was great to drive.
Simon was very responsive and flexible for pickup and drop-off times.

We exceeded our mileage limit, so we had to pay for the extra. Their was a problem with the total amount due, but it was really easy and fast to reach out to Outdoorsy and our host to clarify the situation. I would absolutely recommend to other people to rent from this host and use the Outdoorsy platform without hesitation.

Simon was great to deal with and very responsive when we had questions on the road. Truck/camper ran great with no issues with either of them. Dish towel, rag and oven mitts were quite dirty when we got the unit but easy to launder. We bought some extras and left them there. Otherwise the truck/camper was spotless and ready to go.

Simon’s truck and trailer was perfect for our Yukon road trip. Simon responded promptly to any questions and was flexible on pickup/drop off times. Really enjoyed it!

We really enjoyed our trip! Simon also took great care of us. It was cold outside and he made sure we had everything we needed including nice warm bedding. We had chairs, spices, pots, pans, coffee percolator, you name it. The batteries also provided lots of off grid capability. The holding tanks were also very large and we had plenty of water. The truck drove well and was well maintained. Simon will exceed your expectations as a host and is very accommodating.

Camper would not hold charge more than about 30-45 minutes of power for the heat, etc. Did not seem to charge at all off the solar panels. As a result, very cold overnight and uncomfortable. Issues addressed to host but response was unsatisfactory.
