Acerca de Wendy and Vinicius Teixeira

Hello Friends! We are Wendy and Vini Teixeira~ I was born in Southern California, then my family moved to Southern Oregon in the mid 70's(in our Van). I spent my entire childhood up and down the West Coast vacationing and camping in our family's Chevy Van. Growing in Southern Oregon as an adolescent so many of my friends had Van's as well. So many fun times! Van's have always represented the ultimate in freedom and adventure for me! I always dreamed owning one. I moved back to California (San Francisco) in 1994. I lived in Haight Ashbury for 25 years before we moving to Oakland in Spring of 2019. My husband is a native of Southern Brazil where he grew up on the beach surfing since a child. He moved solo to the United States in 2007 leaving his entire family behind to start a new life for himself. Bittersweet indeed. We met in spring of 2010 and realized we both had the same passion for adventure and travel. Camping culture wasn't big where he was from and I actually took him on his 1st camping trip for his Bday that summer! He absolutely loved it and so began our camping adventures! Back in those times we would fill up the whole entire car with our gear, pitch tents, set up camp kitchens, etc...So much work! Then years later Glamping emerged as a new way of getting outdoors without all the work. We got spoiled by the ease of set up and being able to have some of the comforts of home while still being in nature. That was 2016 and we haven't sent up a tent since. Over the last 5 years or so we started seeing all these amazing conversion Van's during our travels. We vowed one day we would have one... Finally in the summer of 2022 our dream came to fruition and we bought our Sprinter Van! It has been absolutely life changing for us...It has allowed us to travel on our own terms and see/stay in places that would normally been quite costly and/or complicated. Now we have our beloved Van fully loaded so we just throw in our clothes and food and off we go! Owning this Van has been an absolute dream come true for us and we are ready to share the magic with you!
