We had a wonderful experience renting Michaela’s van “Carlos Vantana” while exploring the west side of the island! The van performed perfectly and felt like a cozy home on wheels, thanks to Michaela equipping it with everything we needed—including towels and a portable shower that came in handy after beach days. We loved staying at Kapa’a Beach Park and Ho’okena Beach Park, waking up to stunning ocean views. Michaela was so friendly and welcoming when she showed us around the van, with prompt communication throughout. We highly recommend “Carlos Vantana” for a memorable van life trip!

This was the perfect way to see the island! The van was comfortable and easy to drive. The bed was comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked.

Mickaela is a great host! Carlos Vantana is a well used van that is spacious enough for two people but probably not more.

This van absolutely rocked and had everything I needed and more. Perfect minimal camper van and Michaela couldn’t have been more pleasant or helpful. Would rent again.

The camping van was perfect for the trip my son and I took in Hawaii. Camping at the Volcanos National Park, several beaches and driving across the island was a trip we won't forget. The owner is very accommodating (our flight was delayed 3 hours) and a delight to work with. The van has everything we need plus some. Highly recommend!!!

The van broke down multiple times during our trip, leaving us stranded for hours and forcing us to cancel our plans. Communication from the owner was unclear and unhelpful throughout the problems. Even after the van was supposedly fixed, it broke down again on the last day. Overall, this was a very stressful and disappointing experience, and we would not rent from this owner again

It was a marvellous experience to visit the island of big island with the Carlos Ventana. Everything was very nicely place and put inside of the van. The van was clean and there was a lot of equipment to permit us to have a nice trip like my favourite is that electric pot that charges by itself connect on the central UPS of the van. This was super !!
..the transmission the motor. Everything was great with that van. The two doors that open in the back that we were often backing up on beaches was giving us Wonderful view. We even had a glimpse on the kilauea eruption while sitting inside of the van !!
Our host Michaela was great and very welcoming with us. She even came and picked up us at the airport.!!!

Michaela was super friendly and communicative from start to finish. It was our first rental of Outdoorsy and it was a great experience! The van ran excellent with no problems, the AC was perfect, and the bed is super comfortable. The van was easy to maneuver and smooth to drive. If you are a first timer of the van life, this is a great experience for sure! The van is equipped with the necessities of camping on the road. We would rent again. ☺️ We had a great time! Thank you again, Michaela!!🌺🌺☺️☺️

I had a wonderful time with Carlos! Driving was easy and fun, sleep was cozy and comfortable, and Michaela included lots of little niceties which made my trip a pleasure! I look forward to my next rental

Carlos vantana was everything we needed. The bed is super comfortable, best sleep I had in Hawai'i ! Check out Kapa'a campground for whale watching!!

The rv was the PERFECT fit for us to enjoy 3 weeks on the Big Island.
The host (MJ) was outstanding with communication and supplying us with everything we could possibly need.
