Welcome to Vans Go West, where adventure meets freedom on the open road. Established in 2023, we proudly offer beautifully restored vintage Westfalia camper vans for unforgettable Vancouver Island escapes. Chase sunsets, explore hidden beaches, forest roads, and coastal campsites while traveling in comfort and style. Each van is thoughtfully equipped with essentials for your journey, including linens, lanterns, solar panels, roof racks, portable stoves, cookware, and more. We take pride in making sure every guest feels prepared for a relaxing and memorable island adventure. Our vintage fleet currently includes two fully equipped vans available year-round, weather permitting. Rosie is a dream machine perfectly equipped for a West Coast adventure. She drives well and comes with everything you need to camp comfortably and in style. Natasha is super responsive and attentive host. Highly recommended for travelers or locals looking to roadtrip on the Island.

We had an excellent trip traveling around Vancouver Island in this well equipped van! Graham and Natasha had taken excellent care to prepare Burgundy Berry mechanically and in thoughtful touches. We enjoyed camping with all of the essentials, and our hosts were helpful and kind! We highly recommend our hosts for a reliably and thoughtfully cared for camper van experience!

We loved our experience with Ruby Tuesday! Having rain forecast for a tenting camp trip, we made a quick decision to try out van camping for the first time. So glad we did!
Graham and Natasha were great hosts and took the time to make sure we knew how to work everything, which we appreciated. We were cozy and dry for our weekend away. Loved the fairy lights at night! The van was well stocked with just about everything you’d need. Just pack your bag and fill the fridge and hit the road! We would definitely do it again! If you’re thinking about trying this out, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Hi Mathew, Our apologies if you had any inconvenience with booking, we did however ensure you had the exact same van that you rented, it was just under a new owner so your booking was still 100%secure. We also did accept the cancelation fee rather than having you incur. any charges. We hope your trip went well and we would be happy to accommodate. you in the future.

Natasha and Graham were super nice and the bus was great. The facilities are adequate and you still have enough space for your own things. Highly recommended!

Graham and Natasha were super thorough in making sure we had a great understanding of Ruby before we headed out. Both of them were kind and friendly and super competent at their respective roles in keeping their awesome VW Westfalias clean and running in top condition.

I rented Ruby Tuesday for a camping trip out to Rathtrevor Provincial Park and was blown away by how amazing the experience was! Graham and Natasha are two of the sweetest people and were very thorough in teaching about the layout of the van. The campervan was well stocked with anything we might need and super comfy, especially with the heater! I would definitely rent again and will be recommending to friends!

Natasha and Graham have the introductory lesson down pat, and are very pleasant, thorough and accommodating! They weren't wrong when they said we'd love our first experience with van life! We were so busy enjoying things, we forgot to take pictures! 🤦‍♂️ We look forward to trying it again, tho - hopefully, with a little less rain, next time! LoL
