We had a great experience renting from Jake. He was friendly, accommodating, and incredibly flexible with us. On our return day we had a long drive back from camping and needed some extra time to unpack, and he generously extended our return time by several hours at no additional charge, which we really appreciated.

We had such a fun 6 day adventure in this van. We really loved the space this van had to offer. It was so nice to be able to stand up. My husband is 6’1 and slept comfortably on the bed. There was lots of storage under the bed that fit our 2 large suitcases, camping chairs and table. The camping chairs were awesome as well. The van drove great along the coast and through the Redwoods. The swing door is pretty fun, it can serve as a full length mirror too:) The cooktop was great. We had plenty of electricity for 2 days before we had to charge up and my husband was able to power his cpap. The string lights were nice after dark. This van has great potential and hopefully the host will consider our recommendations for improvement.

So happy I was able to rent from Jake, he was really easy to work with, prompt, friendly, and detailed. The van worked out great too, having a hard shell in cold weather, decent gas mileage, and the detail amenities (didn’t expect) made my trip much easier!

I just went on the best 8 day road trip in the beehive. It drove smoothly, slept comfortably and kept me safe. It was such a rad time. It was the coolest experience ever being able to camp and then take off to the next location in the van. My two dogs and I explored, glacier national park, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and then back home to WA. The drive was beautiful. Jake was awesome to work with. If you don’t rent from him you’re missing out on the experience of a lifetime. I am so glad I chose one of jakes rentals when planning my van trip. His communication is top notch which was key in making me feel safe in a solo van rental across the west. He even helped with recommending the right fit for my trip from his selection. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait for my next trip.

The van was great! We did the Oregon loop from Portland (Mount hood, Bend, Crater lake, coast) and it was perfect.
Jake was super host, very accommodating and responsive. I recommend 100% going with him for your van trip!

Attentive service from the owner. The vehicle drives well, despite its age. We were looking for something a little more polished so it wasn't a perfect fit for us.

We had a mostly good experience with the van. We made good memories and enjoyed our travels to Rainier but for the price we felt there were some kinks to work out.
The Good:
- Car ran well - no problems with it driving!
- We appreciated the double fan system especially at night to stay cool on a summer night
- Bed was super comfortable to sleep in :)
The Not so great:
- We would have appreciated being met and person and shown the systems to feel more confident.
- It wasn't as clean as we would have liked (stained cushions, no provided soap/sponge, not clean feeling in the driving area, messy cabinets)
- no privacy screens/anything for the windshield + front windows
- the cooler had a bizarre smell so we opted to remove it from the van for our trip
