Hello! My wife and I just got ourselves a new trailer to enjoy weekends away and get our kids out and exploring more! We have rented other trailers in the past and thought it was a great way to let people enjoy the trailer to and make a little money!

We always rent a local RV when going the Joshua Tree Music Festival. Our experience with these units is always varied. Some are good and some not. We are seasoned RV owners and know what are fair expectations. The listing says- "you will get a fully equipped kitchen-coffee maker, blender, pots pans, basic cooking utensils, paper plates, cups, paper towels, and forks and spoons" We didn't get a blender which I planned on making smoothies. We got the coffee maker, but no cups for coffee. We had 4 people, but only got 3 folks. No big bowl for making a salad. We ended up buying mugs at the local thrift store and gifting them to the owner. The sheets and towels are polyester, so If you like cotton BYO! We were dry camping and rented the generator, but it wouldn't run the A/C during the heat of the day. Plus it was a big loud generator, not a small quiet one. So we never used it. ALSO be aware (if dry camping) that the battery will not power the refrigerator overnight and it does not have a propane option to run (most do). So your food will get warm overnight. We ended up pulling all our food every night, putting it in coolers. Then when the refrigerator would run off the solar panels during the day we put the food back in, kind of a hassle. We were charged a $100 "Prep Fee", this was NOT prepped! Owner needs to make himself a check list and verify everything for the number of people is on board before renting. We had it delivered so why are we charged $60 for Roadside Assistance and $65 for Vehicle Protection Package? For paying $1300 for 4 days it was not up to expectations. Look at all the fees on the invoice-

Hello Linda, I apologize my trailer was not up to your standards. "You will also get fully equipped kitchen with sink, stove, cabinet space and microwave and fridge/freezer!" is what my listing says. I am very transparent and I have photos of every cabinet on my listing so you know exactly what is there. I keep aluminum cups in my trailer for coffee, this is what my family uses camping as glass tends to bump around and break on the dirt roads we take. I also have a pack of plastic silverware in there.
My prep fee is for the cleaning and filling of water/propane/etc. Not for items in the trailer, Things do come amiss, and I am very quick to offer to bring/replace anything in the trailer during your trip.
The trailer fridge is a 12v and it will run all night as long as you do no drain the battery using/charging additional things, there is a battery gauge on the trailer you can keep an eye on as well. They are also made to keep the temperature overnight just like a ice chest. You had mentioned you changed the temperature of the fridge to the lowest(warmest) setting which will cause the fridge to do a reset and that was the issue the first night as I explained to you.
My generator is a 8000w gen. It will actually run both of my trailers and ACs. It is not a quiet generator, which you knew about when you asked if I had a quiet box and I informed you due to the co2 sensor I cannot have a box over it. I will keep your suggestion in mind of a quiet gen in the future.
Even though I include them, I always recommend for guests to bring their own blankets/pillows etc especially if you have a preference.
I hope you find a trailer in the future that better suits your needs and I highly encourage you to look through all photos and listing details closely and ask a lot more questions. Not all trailers run the same.
and as for the protection package, that is a required (outdoorsy) fee due, not a price I can change at all, for the possibly of accidents happening and this protects not only me but you as well if any car were to hit the trailer even if parked. All charges are made clear ahead of booking and if they didn't meet your price-point there are other trailers available on outdoorsy page for less. I hope the discount on my festival fee helped.

Michael was an excellent host! He was communicative the entire time and super helpful. My friends I and loved our stay in his camper. Everything was perfect. He dropped it off at our location and picked it up with ease. He explained everything and we had no issues. We have rented from others before and this was by far the best. Thank you, Michael!

Great RV trailer rental. Michael was very responsive and made it super easy for us to book and stay in his RV. It had plenty of room and had everything we needed for a week long trip at Joshua Tree. Thank you so much. Our family had a great time.

We had an amazing experience with Michael's trailer. First off, we have no experience with travel trailers, and Michael was wonderful in explaining and re-explaining everything we needed to know to enjoy the weekend. Second, the trailer came so well-stocked. We had brought everything we needed, of course, but it was so nice to have so many little odds and ends and utensils and such in the kitchen. Third, thank goodness for the extra blankets Michael keeps stored! They really saved our butts on what turned out to be an exceptionally cold weekend. And, finally, we included a generator from Michael as an add-on to our rental. While he was showing it to us, he noticed the pull line had become frayed and told us that if anything broke to just let him know. Well, about an hour after Michael left, the generator line SNAPPED. We let Michael know, and he came back that same day to fix the line! That was essential, because there's no way we could've lasted the weekend without a generator. Someone with less know-how would've probably just refunded our generator rental price, and we would've been screwed. XD LONG REVIEW SHORT: If you are visiting anywhere near Joshua Tree/Palm Springs/Pioneertown, RENT FROM MICHAEL! We definitely will again.

Inside was clean and new, great comfort, great sleeping quarters. Great bathroom which was key for a weekend in the desert. Generator was a little loud for some complaints from other campers however we only used it for 4-5 hours one day for air conditioning. The drop off was seamless, we met at a gas station and he drove it to the location. Pickup didn’t hear back after text back but otherwise great weekend. I would recommend this trailer for a weekend in the desert.

We had volunteers out in Joshua Tree providing first aid for a large event. Being on call 24/7 for 4 days required having a comfortable place to be based out of.
This trailer was amazing, great AC for breaks during the hot days and a nice place to sleep at night.
The owner is extremely responsive with communication and went out of his way to help us out.
I would highly recommend renting from him.
