Let me start with the good …Our trailer contact Alyssa was very responsive & friendly throughout our entire experience. She is very nice!
The trailer itself is new and nice inside. It was pretty clean and well stocked on kitchen supplies. I brought quite a few of my own things, but that was mainly just preference.
A good size for our family of 3, pack n play fit perfect where dinette table belongs.
Once we worked through all the kinks and problem solved, we enjoyed our trip!
The challenges… and some of these may not apply to campers who typically go camping where you have full hookups. We were in Yellowstone with no hookups and strict generator usage hours.This trailer needs a generator. Heater will not function without one (I see they updated description to say this). I was also communicated that the solar panel will charge and power all other necessities aside from stove and water heater (propane). See pic of solar power panel, it’s small, only 1.5 W. Not nearly enough to keep a trailer running for a week, and we were conservative.
Be sure you do a solid walkthrough at pickup. We got the trailer and once we got home noticed the black water tank read 2/3 full. We had to drive to a dump station near our house and take care of someone else’s shit (literally). Paid out of pocket and did not get refunded or compensated by them for this.
Propane tank also wasn’t completely full at pickup. We ended up bringing a 2nd.
Trailer doesn’t come with a spare tire, I recommended to owners they get one for future renters peace of mind.
The trailer wasn’t properly hooked up upon pickup, we noticed this about half way into the drive. Shame on us for not triple checking at pick up, but also recommend you do a solid walk through to ensure everything is connected properly.
After returning the trailer I was charged $75 against our security deposit for claims that were NOT done by us. She said she would remove the charge and never did, which has caused me to add this bullet to our review.
Unfortunately, would not rent again, but perhaps others will have a better experience!
