The Serene Retreat was perfect for our five night trip with two young kids. Keith was a wonderful host — very communicative and kind. Keith set up the camper at our site so all we had to do was show up. After years of car camping without kids, this was our first camper trip with kids. It was the perfect mix of time outside in a beautiful place and creature comforts for when our kids hit a wall after hours playing.

Mr. Campbell, our RV host, was very helpful from the start. He kept us updated on when the RV would arrive, sent us a pic after setting it up and also gave us some helpful suggestions for our days in his RV. We'd been to Sam A Baker Park for probably 30 years running and this was by far the easiest experience we'd ever had without needing to haul and pack up the RV ourselves. We would gladly work with the Campbells again and hope to do so.

I rent a lot of campers, Airbnb, VRBO, etc, and the owner, Kieth, is the absolute best!! Quick to respond and help out with any issues. He went above and beyond to make our camping experience wonderful! If I’m ever in Southeast MO the only person I’ll rent from is Kieth, thank you so much, my boys and I had the best time watching the total eclipse and camping with friends and family.
