Edwin truly is a super host. He obviously cares about the experience his renters have and he wants it to be enjoyable. The van is perfectly tricked out for a fun vacation — you'll have everything you need, all clean and prepared. And if you have questions, which might happen with a rig that has all these features, he is speedy with his communication and problem solving. We can't recommend Edwin and Chickpea enough.

This van , “ chickpea “ had everything that we needed! We just needed to add Food and adventure! This van is capable To take those roads off the beaten path! The 4x4 capability gives you that option! We couldn’t think of anything Edwin could’ve done better to make guests trip complete! We sure hope to rent from him again! Til next time

We had such a great experience renting Edwin’s Chickpea for our 6-day trip up the Northern California coast and the redwoods. From the start, Edwin was incredibly gracious, kind and fantastic about communicating with us. He made sure we felt totally comfortable operating everything before we took off. The van was super clean, organized and trip-ready with everything needed for us to have a successful and fun trip which we did!

We needed a van for a week-long trip through Pinnacles, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite. From our first message to rental return, Edwin treated us like family and we recommend him to others.
The “beast mode” sprinter is more capable than a typical camper van letting us reach remote trailheads and quieter sites many traditional rigs simply cannot access. It came fully outfitted it for an extended itinerary, so cooking, sleeping, power, water, and daily living were covered. We spent our days out in the parks instead of solving logistics.
Pickup and drop-off were handled with real flexibility, as Edwin agreed to meet us at a convenient public midpoint rather than adding a long extra drive on either end.
As first-timers, we especially appreciated the time Edwin took to educate us. He walked us through the vehicle and its systems and sent short, useful videos we could refer to on the road.
Communication stayed close and throughout and Edwin responded to our questions quickly. Nothing felt like we were on our own.
For a reliable, capable, fully equipped van combined with a host who anticipates your every need, book Edwin. This was outstanding and we would rent from Edwin again!

The van was clean and had everything we needed for a week trip through CA national parks. Edwin is a great host and available for any questions we had.

We had an amazing experience with Edwin's camper going up the Sonoma coast to Mendocino. This was our first time doing something like this, but the camper handled well up and down the winding roads of Highway 1. It was clean, well-maintained, and literally had everything you can think of for a comfortable to even more "luxurious" camping trip with all the amenities. There was a minor issue that delayed our pick up time, which Edwin fully made up for by delivering the vehicle to us himself. We had no issues and no complaints, and Edwin is really an amazing human and host. 5 stars and would rent again.

Edwin was an extraordinary host and the van is just simply awesome. The pictures and description don’t do justice for how well-equipped and cool it is. Edwin ensured that everything was seamless at every step along the way. From videos sent in advance to orient us to the van’s systems, to a detailed walk-through at pickup, to being a text away throughout our trip, Edwin sets the bar very high — and the van was perfect for our bucket list camping trip down the PCH. The Beast Mode is badass!

A great experience. Edwin’s Storyteller is a “turn key” van, fully equipped and exceeded our expectations. The van is impeccably maintained and a pleasure to drive. Edwin is a great communicator, available for any questions regarding the van and “van life” in general, an awesome host. Would highly recommend for your travels.

We had a wonderful experience renting Ed‘s RV. The RV was immaculate shape. Extremely clean well cared for, down to the detail of having the cups wrapped in plastic wrap to keep them clean for the renters. Ed was super easy to work with and provided great service. Couldn’t recommend this RV more! It has 4 wheel drive and a ton of thoughtful upgrades that make the RV an incredible experience to rent.

During our 5-night trip with Edwin’s Storyteller Beast Mode - Chickpea, we started our adventure by picking up a spotless, well-maintained vehicle that immediately impressed us with its thoughtful amenities. As soon as we loaded our gear into the large garage—easily accessible from both inside and outside—we felt ready to hit the road.

We recently used Outdoosy to rent a very nice vehicle from Edwin. We traveled to Yosemite and the Bay Area. Edwin was the perfect host! He was clear with the instructions, thoughtful throughout the trip, and provided everything we needed to make our experience memorable. Edwin is a great human being! "The Beast" performs fantastically! We highly recommend Edwin and his vehicle to anyone considering a similar experience!

I had a great experience taking the van to Big Sur over four days. Edwin is a good communicator and has stocked the van with a range of cookware and utensils. We just added food, bedding, and camp chairs. The van is a Storyteller Overland, which has the best design IMO. The control system for lights, climate, etc is easy to use.

Edwin was an awesome host. He was extremely responsive and helpful to any questions that we had. The Storyteller Overland was the perfect vehicle for our trip out to Trona Pinnacles and Alabama Hills. It was very simple to learn and operate the fresh and grey water systems, and Edwin provided all the necessary tools and equipment needed to enjoy a great overlanding experience. Would definitely recommend and would want to rent again in the future.
