About Christopher's RV rentals

We have two short-term rentals that we also rent out. One of them is in Powhatan Virginia on our 15 acre farm where you pick up the RV. Our other one is just outside Lexington Va. It overlooks the Calfpasture River that feeds into the Murry River what is well known for white water rafting and fly-fishing.

Our host was very responsive and communicative. We used the RV to camp in two different locations - one with electric and one without. It worked out great both times. It was very east to maneuver in and out of the campgrounds and on trips to town.

We really enjoyed our trip! The van was in perfect condition and had everything we needed for a week of exploring the East Coast. We tried everything from a full hookup stay at a campground to off the grid in the National Forest. The perfect way to try out the RV life.

We had a fantastic time with the Travato. It performed superbly and kept us toasty while sleeping on a 30 degree night. Chris was great and we would love to rent from him again and the Harvest Host access was perfect for our short trip!

Our host, Chris, was outstanding. Quick response to emails and texts. RV was clean and well stocked. While on the road we had an issue that was quickly addressed by Chris and the Outdoorsy technician. Very impressed with both. Would definitely rent again from Chris.

Great RV for a short trip for beginners like us. The van drives well, clean, and stocked with everything you need. Now we know what to expect to plan for a longer journey.

Wonderful and helpful hosts , they gave a thorough explanation how everything operates pre-departure . Van was a joy to drive w extremely comfortable seats , excellent field of sight , rear view camera mirror and back up mirror . I found the van easy to drive both on busy highways and maneuvering small campsites . Adequate power climbing the Appalachians and in highway traffic. . Van is well set up for exploring either off grid or at campsites w hookups . Has nice kitchen , roomy refrigerator, adequate storage and restroom /shower . Set up well w interior and exterior lighting and the mechanical awning makes for a comfortable campsite . Though I did not calculate mpg , gas usage felt reasonable . Overall wonderful opportunity to explore class b adventure travel and I loved it . Thanks Chris and Kelly!

This van drives like an SUV and is SUPER comfortable. Chris is very good at communicating and made the trip very easy.
