We rented this RV for a 17-day family trip that covered nearly 5,000 miles, and overall it was a good experience. The biggest positive was how well the RV fit our family of six. It was very comfortable for the entire trip, and the layout worked well for having everyone together for an extended adventure. The RV drove very smoothly and was surprisingly easy to handle, even with the amount of driving we did. Fuel economy was about average for an RV of this size. Storage was a little limited for a long family trip, but with some planning we made it work. The rental process itself was very easy, and Jeremy was responsive and helpful throughout the process. The app made the process straightforward, although I do not remember being told ahead of time that before and after photos were required—the app prompted those steps when completing the rental. There were some issues that kept this from being a 5-star experience. The cleanliness when we picked it up was below expectations, and the RV showed a fair amount of wear and tear. The listing photos appear to be from when the RV was much newer, so just be aware that the current condition reflects an RV that has been well loved and used.During our trip, the refrigerator/freezer stopped working, which resulted in us losing the food we had stored inside and left us without another way to keep things cold. To Jeremy’s credit, he reimbursed us for the cost of the spoiled food, which we appreciated. However, it was still a significant inconvenience for the remainder of our trip. We also had an issue with the slide-out leaking during rain, which appeared to be related to the lack of a proper slide-out canopy. The driver’s side window also rattled constantly while driving, which became noticeable over thousands of miles.Following our nearly 5,000-mile trip, Jeremy submitted a damage claim through the app. The only new wear and tear identified after a cross-country trip was minor, which I believe is to be expected with normal use over that distance. Given the amount of pre-existing wear and damage already on the RV, I was surprised a claim was submitted for such minor wear. That said, my biggest advice to future renters is to take extensive photos and videos before and after your trip, inspect every inch of the RV, test every appliance before leaving, document all existing damage, and ask any questions before starting your trip.Overall, this RV served our family well and allowed us to have an incredible 17-day adventure. Just go into it knowing it is a well-used RV, and make sure you thoroughly document its condition before driving away.
