About Dale Englehorn's RV rentals
Dale is a long term naturalist-educator who loves exploring and studying about the out of doors! My husband Gordon and I hike and bike through 4 the seasons here on the Mendocino Coast. We'd love to share our Winnebago Travato travel van with you so you can build some awesome adventures !

Dale and Gordon were fantastic hosts and our trip in their Travato will never be forgotten. We explored redwoods up in Humboldt area (Burlington Campground) as well as many magnificent locations along the coast north of Fort Bragg. Both Dale and Gordon were so responsive and answered all of our questions we had during the planning stages of our trip. Their van definitely had positive vibes...and we hope we added some! There is a good chance we will rent this van again...if you have been thinking about doing it...just do it! It is one of the best ways to travel and really get out in the expansive beauty of Northern California.

The vehicle was exactly as described and everything worked well. Dale and Gordon couldn't have been nicer - they gave us a thorough walk through, patiently answered all questions before and during our trip, and even gave us home made cookies before we headed out! The power batteries also charge when you drive, which was essential in our case given that we had very little sun nor used campgrounds during our trip. Overall, excellent experience!

Gordon and Dale's RV is really well kitted out and is a really quiet to drive. We stayed in it for a week long trip and it had everything we needed, including a big battery so it never felt like we were going to run low!
