Hi there! I'm passionate about the great outdoors and the joys of RV living. I love my Heartland Mallard M26 RV and exploring Georgia's beautiful camping spots. One of my favorites is Red Top Mountain, with its serene lake access and peaceful atmosphere. Georgia has so much to offer, from the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains to charming camping areas in Cummings. Cooking in and around my RV is one of my favorite activities, as it brings out the wilderness spirit and is perfect for family gatherings. Booked for delivery to an off-grid, boondocking location, and sent GPS coordinates and a google maps code for drop off. Owner was still surprised upon arrival that the destination was off grid, and expressed that he didn’t know what boondocking meant, which was a red flag, but we all start somewhere as a new owner so we gave benefit of the doubt that all was good to go. However, despite the listing including potable water onboard and 4 hours of daily generator usage ($48 rental plus overages), the rig showed up without either of those amenities. Owner realized he’d forgotten the gennie and went back for it, but unfortunately I didn’t realize the onboard water storage tank had not been filled until late that night - when other rigs had already been delivered and boxed us in for the 5 day event. Owner responded when contacted about the water that he wouldn’t know how to get water on board without the rig being at a campground connected to full hookups for the week, so we made do but really would have felt much more at home had we been able to use the faucets or big shower that were major contributing factors to our selecting this RV. We washed up using water we brought for drinking (luckily we always bring extra) but left early once we ran low on water and got desperate for a shower. Bed was comfy, linens and kitchen were well stocked but next time I’ll look for a more experienced owner.

Trailer was as described and host was easy to contact and great to work with. I was surprised to have been charged the additional fees for a generator and delivery, which i understood were included in initial quoted price. Is that fee an Outdoorsy’s charge?
