Maciah was an amazing host. Very responsive and flexible. Helpful with providing top restaurants on all parts of Kauai. I would definitely be reaching back out to rent again when venturing back in Kauai.

Nothing's better than coming back from a morning surf to make breakfast & bloodies in the van overlooking the ocean. We had such a great time in Sushi! The van is plenty big for two people and has old-school charm. Miciah is also super nice and easy to work with

Do not hesitate to book with Maciah for your Kauai vacation! Communication was excellent. The van is in amazing condition and so fun to drive around the island. 10/10 recommend!

We had a great trip with the van for our family of 4. Plenty of room and comfortable bedding! We stayed at Kumu Camp and loved it. We checked out a few other camping spots and Kumu seemed the best, by far.

If you are looking for the perfect van to explore Kauai, look no further! "Sushi" was a fantastic home for our long weekend jaunt around the North Shore - Maciah has taken every consideration into making sure you'll have everything you need. The van was a joy to drive and took no time at all to get comfortable with. But more than anything, we truly appreciated the kindness and generosity of Maciah -- he went the extra mile in ALL the ways. You really won't find a nicer human being who will patiently answer all your questions and if any issues arise, he responds in a flash. We ended up camping in Kumu Camp - don't worry if you can't make a reservation ahead of time there, just give them a call and they can usually find an overflow spot for you. Thanks again Maciah for everything - we can't wait to return and spend more time exploring the island in one of your fabulous vans!

Not a better way to experience the Island. You have transportation and accommodation built into one fun, nostalgic and fun package. Several locals thought we were locals. The van was a blast to drive and easy to parka nd get around. A bit corky if you aren't used to old cars, but that made it all the more fun. Maciah was very helpful, an amazing communicator, and provided some extra toys for us to fully experience the island. Wouldn't suggest any other way to travel and explore Kuaia!

We rented the van for 9 days during the first lag of our trip and we had so much fun touring around the island in this bad girl. It's perfect for ripping around the north shore looking for surf. Some things to consider before booking: the size of the van is tighter than you'd think, but for two adults with minimal gear we had no problems. The Yeti cooler featured in the ad was not the same size as the one given and the camping gear is very basic. All in all for the price you can't beat this option and Maciah is very friendly and reliable.

We loved our time in Kauai in the Van. Maciah was a huge help when we needed suggestions on locations and activities. The van was well stocked for our adventures. Such an amazing experience. Family of four fit nice and comfortable. We will be back.

Had a blast. Maciah was super communicative and flexible. The van and included gear made the trip so easy. All we had to do was make reservations at campgrounds ahead of time. Sushi had some quirks at the time we had her, but a 25 year old van is gonna have some quirks. We loved it.

What a cool experience to go rogue and live that vagabond life through Kauai. Beach hopping and bouncing around through town with everything you need to thrive. Miciah was a pleasure to communicate with and I def felt like I was set up for success with what he provided for the journey around the island. I’d surely recommend getting out of the ordinary hotel stay and getting in touch with some adventure in this VW.
