We rented this trailer for a long weekend in Kamloops for a ball tournament. The trailer was a good size for our needs and generally in decent mechanical condition, but there were several disappointing issues.
When we arrived, the P-trap under the sink was leaking and I had to tighten the plumbing myself. The trailer also had not been cleaned well — the toilet was dirty, and I swept roughly a cup and a half of dirt/debris from the floor before bringing our belongings inside. The interior door lock also did not work properly, so we could not securely lock the trailer from inside.
Communication and the pickup walkthrough were also lacking. We were not shown how most systems worked or even where items like the generator power connection and sewer hoses were stored.
Most frustrating was being told the day before our trip about an additional $50 “hitch and stabilizer bar rental” fee, even though the listing stated towing equipment was included. I provided screenshots, but the discrepancy was not acknowledged.
