We had a wonderful week exploring Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The RV was perfect for our trip and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Karl and his wife were incredibly kind, helpful, and always available when we had questions. Karl even delivered the RV to the airport and picked it up from us there at the end of our trip, which was extremely convenient and made our travel so much easier. We highly recommend renting from Karl — you can book with complete confidence!

Super nice people to rent from, very informative in all aspects of rental. The rv was exactly like presented and enjoyed the trip to Yellowstone, cody, and the tetons. I would definitely rent from Karl again.

Everything was setup to hit the road and even the little things. Host was super communicative and helpful, even answered questions promptly while I was on my trip. Had a great time and the RV was clean, ran well and comfortable. Great experience will do it again!

We loved our week exploring Yellowstone/Grand Teton in the RV. We do a lot of tent camping but the RV experience really blew us away. We wanted to travel comfortably with our 3 year old and 8 month old and this RV was absolutely perfect and extremely clean! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen provided quick parking lot lunches for the kids! It really was the best national park trip we’ve ever taken and I credit most of that to the RV and how kind Karl was, you really can’t beat the ease of the airport pickup/drop off! We would definitely recommend to people or come back in the future! If you are considering booking, JUST DO IT, you won’t regret it.

We had the most incredible experience staying in this RV in the beautiful state of Montana! From the moment we arrived, Carl and Janine went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were kind, hospitable, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made the whole experience even more special.

The trip could not have been better. My wife and I were searching for a trip to take with our 10 month old baby, and we took a leap of faith that renting an RV to see Yellowstone and Grand Teton would work well. The RV was perfect!Some positives:
1. The RV was easier to drive than I expected. We felt very safe.
2. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are designed with RVs in mind. I had read some horror stories that simply weren't true. Driving and parking at major sites / areas wasn't an issue at all.
3. Having an RV was perfect for traveling with a baby. We always had everything we needed, and while the baby took naps in our pack-n-play, the adults would trade off exploring nearby. It was really fun.
4. We would have wanted to rent the RV even without the baby. I've been to Yellowstone before and stayed in hotels. The RV is so much more convenient than staying in a hotel because the area is huge and you want to move around, not to mention always having a bathroom, clothing layering options, and your kitchen with you. For us, traveling in an RV was less stressful than staying in a hotel and driving around all day in a car.
5. For us, the price of the RV and campgrounds was a bit cheaper than staying in hotels. We did a detailed analysis. However, we would have picked the RV even if it was more expensive.
6. We cooked all of our meals in the RV kitchen and on the provided grill. We did a grocery pickup order at Walmart when we first landed. Cooking was no issue at all.
7. Everything in the RV was comfortable (despite being old): the bed, the driver and passenger seats, the couch, the dinette, even the shower. The shower is small but we used it every day and it was fine.
8. The RV looks and feels nicer in real life than in the photos.

Our experience renting this RV was the icing on the cake of our family's best ever adventure. We are big campers, and have both a popup and a trailer at home on the East coast, so we knew what camper life was like. But one thing we have never done is RV through a national park. Seeing Yellowstone and Grand Teton from Karl and Janine's "White Buffalo" made our adventure so comfortable and convenient, my kids even said "I could see us living in an RV!"Karl and Janine went out of their way to try and answer all my million questions beforehand, even recommending ordering groceries ahead for pickup at a local supermarket. We didn't get to meet Janine but Karl was as nice as can be, and very patiently explained all the ins and outs of the RV both before our trip, and during, via text. Many of my questions were ignorant, but Karl never made us feel like we were asking stupid questions! I spent hours reading all the reviews of this listing and inspecting the photos, so we could be as prepared as possible. I knew the RV was older. Still, when we arrived at the airport and stepped inside for the first time, I was amazed at how clean it was. I have a very sensitive sense of smell, and I was expecting an RV of this age to have a mustiness to it, but it did not! Everything from the floors to the upholstery to the linens were impeccably clean.Why rent an RV for this trip:
First of all- for those who say it isn't a good idea to do Yellowstone in an RV- you're wrong! Yes, there are some roads that are off limits, but there aren't many, we didn't have time in 8 days to do it all anyway, and we loved what we did see. Many times the "RV only" parking spots in crowded lots were available a moment or two after we got there, while the rest of the car spots were full. We got to the point that we were dressed and ready to go each day in under an hour- less if we didn't have hookups- making this a truly easy camping experience. We were able to pull off the road whenever we needed to see wildlife. And I don't know whether it's just the White Buffalo or all RVs but our gas mileage was way better than we thought it would be. Even driving for eight straight days we only needed to fill a tank and a half, making the RV a much more affordable accomodation for a family of five than hotel rooms and a rental car.Why rent this RV:
This was the perfect size for our family of 5 with two big teenage boys. There was tons of storage space also so nothing needed to be stored on the floor (my pet peeve), and with the bumpout extended there really was a lot of space. But the added amenities in this RV are what made it truly special. There was so much already thought of that it meant we didn't need to plan our days, freeing us to truly go adventuring. My suggestion is to make reservations EARLY at all the campgrounds, stay at a different one each night, and then spend your days driving and exploring from one site to the next. There is no need to pack a bag or cooler each day. Kids are hungry? Just pull over and make lunch in the fully functional kitchen while staring out at the mountains. Someone needs a nap? Go sleep in the nice dark bedroom (with a VERY comfortable mattress) in the back. Forgot to use the bathroom before we left? Go ahead- it's super clean. Can't find any meat in the (very limited) convenience stores in the park? No worries, we have leftovers in the fridge and a microwave to heat it up. Hot after a hike? Let's sit in the A/C and finish that pint of huckleberry ice cream we have left in the freezer! Freezing in the morning? Stay under the (very cozy) covers. I'll turn on the heat, and here's some hot cocoa I made with the Keurig. The best was when we connected our phone to the Bluetooth and turned on the GuideAlong app (highly recommend) and realized the speakers go throughout the RV, so our kids could listen and look out any of the very large windows, wherever they were in the RV!

Things could not have been more perfect in the RV that we rented from
Karl and Janine. Everything was as if I had put into this RV exactly what I wanted and needed (our 11 year old granddaughter affectionately called Our V).
The RV worked perfectly and had such wonderful things as first class towels. We have rented Airbnbs a lot the last 14 years and the towels and linens provided here were better quality than most! I cannot say enough good things about our experience camping in Yellowstone National Park for the week and it would not have been as glorious without the wonderful opportunity to rent this Our V 😁

We had the best time on our trip in Montana and Wyoming. Karl and Janine are very kind friendly and accommodating.. they even picked up our groceries in Walmart and stored it in the RV before they picked us up.. the RV was spacious , clean , and had everything we needed.. also the location and the price was very convenient …
The nature in Montana and Wyoming is beautiful unspoiled and wild .. we explored Yellowstone NP, Grand Teton NP and Gallatin national forest and the experience is unforgettable..will definitely come and rent the RV again to explore the other parts of Montana .. I would highly recommend to everyone!

Our trip couldn’t have been better! It was our first experience with an RV, and Karl and Janine made it amazing with such a well-equipped vehicle, great communication, and constant support. Sometimes we joked that it was better equipped than our own home. We cooked pasta, pancakes, cookies, barbecue - everything that we wanted was possible.

As first-time RVers tackling Yellowstone and Grand Teton for two weeks, we couldn't have made a better decision than renting Karl and Janine's Coachmen Leprechaun. It was very easy to drive and operate and allowed us to explore the National Parks with everything we needed at our fingertips. The RV allowed us to get our kids (5, 3, and 1) to in-demand locations early so we didn't miss out (we would leave for our destination as soon as we woke up and eat breakfast and get dressed in the RV), gave our kids a mid-day napping space, and allowed us to explore without worrying about packing everything we needed separately. From helping us load up our kids and luggage at the airport to walking us through all the features of the RV, Karl was an excellent host. Additionally, the videos he put together demonstrating the use of all of the RV's features gave us peace of mind when it came to dumping the grey and black water and using the generator and generator-supported features for the first time on our own. Glacier is on our short list of National Parks to see next and this RV will easily be our first choice if we make a return trip to Bozeman.

We had the best vacation in Yellowstone in Karl and Janine's rv. It was clean, easy to use, equipped perfectly and exactly the right size for us. Karl was so accommodating to our questions before and after making reservations. The videos were very clear and easy to understand. The upper bunk area was comfortable for our adult son almost 6 ft tall. Karl went above and beyond a simple rv rental! We felt so at home during our week long vacation. One of our favorite moments was seeing elk in our campground. This experience has made us want to explore other parks in the future this way. We've already told other family members with dreams of Yellowstone to do the same.
