We are so excited to share Wanderbussed the Skoolie with others! We have worked so hard to make this bus into the best glamping-meets-school bus experience ever! Aaron works hard as a nurse for our family of 4 (& doggo makes 5). Renting out our beloved bus is mama’s income and I am proud to make it great for others. Can’t wait to get you on the road!

Aaron and Caroline made renting our first RV a breeze! The Wanderbussed did not disappoint, so fun and unique!! Definitely would rent again.

The hosts for this bus trip are truly wonderful people who are invested in making sure you have a good time. Even during some times of misunderstanding using the Outdoorsy platform, they called the company and helped sort things out. Certainly not something they needed to do. My boyfriend and I had such a fun trip in the skoolie. I highly recommend taking a trip with this bus. It was easy to drive and so cozy. It will spoil you though at campgrounds, sure beats out the tent for comfort and convenience. Thank you Aaron and Caroline!

The Wonderbussed was absolutely GREAT!!!! It met all r needs that were expected,everything worked great and was rolling in style the work the owners put into it shows there love for the Wonderbussed. The owners were GREAT to deal with was there if any questioned needed answered and did so with a timely manner… Definitely would rent this again actually can’t wait to plan next trip with Wonderbussed!!!!!!

We rented The Wanderbus Skoolie from Aaron and Caroline for a quick weekend retreat at Hidden Paradise campgroup. Firstly, the Wunderbus itself is expertly crafted and meet all of our basic needs and more! Aaron and Caroline put together a fantastic video that we could quickly-easily reference once we were set up at camp. The Skooklie was well equipped and the AC unit kept everything very comfortable the entire trip. Speaking of comfort, the bed was very generous and gave my 6'1" husband plenty of head and foot room. Everything worked as it should, stove, fridge, ac, etc. We didn't use the restroom or shower as the campground had those, but it was nice to know we could be fully equipped if needed. If you are looking for a small footprint rv or want to experience your own Skoolie, this is the one!

Best way to have a family vacation!! Aaron and Caroline were awesome to rent from!!! Quick response to email/texts and super helpful with questions!! Would definitely rent from them again!! We love Leppie!!!

Leppie was great! It was our first time using a drivable camper and it was much easier than I thought. Aaron was very communicative the entire time! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great clean and easy camper to drive.

Aaron and Caroline are gracious, kind, communicative, and downright awesome! They were quick to answer questions, and spent a significant amount of time teaching us about Leppie before we hit the road. Aaron was very honest and open about Leppie’s (very few) quirks or imperfections.

This was our first time using Outdoorsy and our first time RVing. Despite our firsts, Caroline and Aaron were awesome hosts that helped us from start to finish.For our trip, we loaded up our three kids and dog and headed South to Land Between the Lakes. This is a great RV for someone who has never driven a larger vehicle before and yet has more than two people to travel with. It handles pretty well and the cameras around the van made turns so much easier. It really is quite easy to back up into campsites as well. There’s quite a bit of room, especially when the side is extended out. Our kids slept above the cab and on the table-bed. We cooked all of our meals, using the stove, microwave, and convection oven. We took showers every night too, which was a real treat to do right from the RV.The RV itself was immaculate. It was above and beyond what I expected. I wish house rentals were as clean! The RV was also stocked to the gills with great gear. All of our needs were covered: sheets, pillows, towels, camp chairs, a hand vac, trash bags, dishes, soap and so much more! Caroline and Aaron’s thoughtfulness as renters really shows in how well prepared the vehicle is. As first-timers, this was a huge stress reliever for us.

A bolt in the awning fell out during the trip and the owner took our $1,000.00 deposit. Looking back I think that they knew it was broken and simply chose not to tell us so that they wouldn’t have to pay for maintenance on their own vehicle. Be careful if renting from them. They seemed nice, but are actually quite dishonest. Choose someone else.

We’ve had such a great experience renting to everyone that has taken Leppie out, your family included. It’s unfortunate you think that about us, and it hurts that you wrote that about us on our page.Michael, we opened the awning for you and your wife and explicitly explained that a previous renter had to pay $1000 to get the awning fixed and we didn’t want that to happen to anyone else. We took our time showing you exactly how to operate everything, including the awning, so that the same thing didn’t happen to you. We kindly warned you to please not keep the awning open at night or during any wind or storms (wind is known to break RV awnings).It seems your belief is that we get to keep your deposit money, but Outdoorsy is the one who is holding your security deposit until their claims assessment team has decided the outcome of this. As with every rental, we took pre-trip photos, and post-trip photos. The claims team will do the rest. Also, as explained in our description of Leppie, we manage the RV, and do not own it, so there is no basis for your claim that we are trying to get out of paying for damage to Leppie.Aaron and I actually take great care to make things right in the world. We are devoted to those around us, work in helping professions, believe in karma, and try to live an all-around good life. It really does hurt that you think us dishonest, and I would encourage anyone reading this review to please look at our other reviews and reach out to us with any and all questions you might have.
I am truly sorry that this happened while on your vacation. Aaron and I have certainly had our share of mishaps, but we just take a breath, remember that we’re blessed to be able to go on the trip in the first place, and replace what needs to be.
Aaron and I have replaced a few things that we accidentally broke in Leppie out of our own pockets, because...we broke it. And even though I got upset at first, and wanted to blame someone else, the fact is that things happen, and that is what deposits and insurance are for.This is always my biggest fear with managing renting this RV: the anger that could be displaced when things go wrong. Michael, I can assure you, we would never do what you have said. I sincerely wish you and your family peace over this situation, and I hope as you grow as a person, mishaps like this that cost you money become a “part of it” and you can learn to roll with the punches. There are so many other bad things in the world; don’t spend too much energy focusing on the things that won’t matter in a year.

My first time renting an RV and it was a wonderful and rewarding experience. I have minimal experience with RVs. The owners were very patient with me and made the use and operation easy and comfortable.
