Unforgettable adventure. Frank is fantastic. My entire family had a wonderful time exploring Big Bear, the desert & the coast. The Gladiator is outstanding. Thank You Frank!!

This was our second trip, the third one is booked and we may even fit a fourth in between if all comes together. Even a last-minute call to the team and never a worry, super friendly and helpful through out. This is the best way to get around California to see and experience all the national forests and national parks. 5*Setup.

We cant wait for our next trip. What access to places these jeeps allow simply provides a vacation like no other. The team through the whole booking and to the end of the trip were so user-friendly and helpful. Best long weekend get away we have had in years. Thanks FunkiAdventures.

Frank was great! The van was a great benefit for us city folks; there were 2 problems with the van our refrigerator went out and we never got the explanation of the portable sink, but with that said think about that, we had a refrigerator and a sink for camping! Did I mention running water... Both campsites had loud campers, which Funki Adventures had no control over. We were not able to see a few of the sites we wanted to see because of the crowds and size of van (parking). Giving us recommendations, alternative options, and a virtual map was HUGE for us. Frank even gave us a few links for private campgrounds the day of. He wanted us to REALLY enjoy our time! He wasn't just trying to rent the van to us. We were NEVER lost or felt things were not right. We are already thinking about our next adventure through Funki Adventures. We highly recommend

Frank is great and available. The van was incredible with more conveniences than we knew we wanted, like a dish washing table that stores conveniently under the bed. We all loved the van and took pictures of the van and us in and around the van :)

We had a blast on our 5 day camping trip in the Anza Borrego Desert. The Jeep and the equipment is top notch and well maintained. Frank was very responsive to all the questions we had. Can only recommend.

Frank, who we rented from, saw that the jeep was fully stocked with what we needed for our trip. The jeep was clean and everything worked, and he was very helpful when it came to the Jeep and its features. The jeep made the road exploration easier and more enjoyable. It was well equipped for most of the harder roads. Overall, I would definitely recommend using Funki Adventures!

Our Funki Adventure Jeep trip was an amazing adventure! We were looking for a different type of vacation, one that could take us to new places we hadn't been, lead us far away from tourist spots, and to truly get away and unplug. On top of this we didn't want to have to worry about all the packing, we wanted the full camping experience without all the work that went into preparing. What sealed the deal...the trip planning. With little knowledge of all the places one could go, we wanted an experienced and knowledgable person to prepare an itinerary that would guarantee a stellar trip. After an initial call to go over our requests/ideas we were presented a trip plan that was detailed, exciting, and had all the turn-by-turn directions one needs to get to somewhere off-grid. It truly felt like we were consulting with the ultimate expert and that we were given some secret spots that only those "in-the-know" would know about. Having a vehicle that can traverse terrain that others can't, we were given a few options that only this type of vehicle can make it to. In fact, at one of the campsites recommended, we were assigned a spot that was only for 4-wheel drive vehicles, giving us a secluded spot that truly felt a world away. The Jeep was equipped with everything we needed and more. The additional add-ons available are good rates and made upgrading our experience feel like a bargain. I would recommend Funki Adventures to everyone, already shared it with many friends (even before going on the trip!). We can't wait to take another trip and explore more great areas of California!

We absolutely loved using Funkiadventures for our camping trip. From the very beginning Frank was responsive, helpful and a joy to work with. The jeep was so cool and we loved taking it offroad to our campsites. Thank you Funkiadventures for a memorable trip!

Had a wonderful experience renting with Frank. He was very helpful leading up to the trip, helping us sort through the insurance/driver verification with Outdoorsy. The Jeep is beautiful and came with all the tools you'd need for safety like a GPS and traction mats for sand off-roading. Also included are tons of materials for camp cooking, including a camp stove. The tent was easy to set up (though you will need another person to help if if you're very short like me!)

We had the best trip using Frank’s Jeep camper 4x4. Leading up to the trip and throughout our trip, Frank was extremely communicative with responding to questions, providing helpful information and making sure we had everything we needed. The car itself is in pristine condition and he has all top of the line gear from his camper to the fridge to throwing in camping chairs, sleeping materials, water container, camping stove and pots/pans, etc you have everything you need for a perfect camping trip. All you need to do is so up! We can’t recommend frank and his Jeep setup more! Such an awesome weekend and we will certainly be renting again. Thank you Frank!
