Hi, My name is Kurt and I'm the owner of Contravans, a campervan conversion company. I built my first campervan years ago. I have since turned that experience into a lifestyle and business that has built over 150 campervans. I often rent my van while we build others for our customers. This was our first experience with a campervan and it will be hard to top on any future trips. We met Kurt and he gave us a quick familiarization of the vehicle and its conveniences. Then we headed out for a 1200 mile adventure dodging early November snowstorms through southwestern CO and southeastern UT. We dispersed camped in some amazing spots where the temps dropped into the low 20s. Heater and batteries worked flawlessly to keep us warm and comfortable. The vehicle is very capable and easy to drive. It has a tall profile but gets impressive gas mileage, or I should say diesel mileage. Great adventure and great experience. Absolute pleasure to work with Kurt. The fit and finish on this van was exceptional. Highly recommend renting from Kurt.,

The van was a dream vehicle for driving around Colorado. So many great amenities, drove beautifully, and was a great home base for our adventures. Kurt couldn’t have been nicer and more responsive. We will definitely be doing this again next summer.

Absolutely perfect! We were able to cover all of Yellowstone and enjoyed every second! This van was so easy to travel and we can’t wait to do it again! Kurt couldn’t have made our trip any easier, such an interesting and kind host!

We had an awesome trip in Kurt's Toyota Sienna. All the features in the van were easy to use -- the kitchen, the bed, etc -- and we had an extremely comfortable stay. Our favorite features were the fridge (our milk didn't spoil and we had it in there for 9 days), the fold out bed inside (my husband is 6'3'' and he fit comfortably), and the fan (we had great airflow every night that we slept inside!). We also really liked that the van was minivan-sized, which is much easier to drive than something bigger. We would rent it again!

We had an amazing time in Colorado and Kurt's minivan (we named her Betty), made it an even better experience! It is outfitted perfectly for our needs. We drove her 950 miles without a single issue. The interior is super spacious and very comfortable for those colder nights. The Tepui tent is incredibly easy to set up and very comfortable for 2 adults. We only had to fill up the gas tank a handful of times. It is very economical on gas. The refrigerator had more space than we needed and it kept our food cold the entire time. The only one very minor complaint, and really it's not a complaint because we weren't in a hurry whatsoever, is that the minivan doesn't climb steep grade very well. It's a minivan, so we knew what to expect! Kurt, we wish you luck with your business and if you ever decide to branch out to the East coast, we'll be your first customers!!

My wife, 2 daughters and I had a fantastic time in Kurt’s camper. Kurt was very easy to work with and the vehicle handles great! Would not hesitate to rent this again.
