5Acerca de Adam Leggett
I was born and raised in Alaska and after serving in the Navy and going to school in Florida, I realized how good we have it up here and moved back home. I have a 5 year old son and bought my van as a way for us to enjoy family camping trips and instill my love of the outdoors in him. I'm also a former tour guide on the Alaska Railroad and love sharing information and tips in order to explore this beautiful state. Don't hesitate to ask me questions if you have them.

The only negative about our experience (besides the rain, which brought out mosquitoes) was Outdoorsy, which apparently is severely understaffed. When I had questions prior to the trip, I generally had an hour wait before a rep. was available for an online chat. One evening, I called Outdoorsy before starting dinner. While on hold, I cooked dinner and finished eating with my family before I finally hung up two hours later....tired of their recorded message and music. This was my first experience with Outdoorsy, so I don't know whether their poor customer service is normal for them or if it is due to the pandemic and possible layoffs. Either way, it was extremely frustrating. Too bad, because our experience with the van owner was positive, and our vacation was fun. Alaska was on my bucket list, and vacationing in the wilderness was ideal for social distancing.
